Hi guys I like to ask how to determine wheather my rollers has wear off?

Is it when my bike starts to have the rollers jumping sound when I on my bike during idling?

Or not a very smooth delivered power during top end.

I like to ask as well where will be cheaper to get my rollers change, including labour charge.

Thanks in advance, Jason.

I have not owned an sp before but from my (short) experience with the runner, the maintenance is slightly higher (maybe due to the higher cost of spare parts being an italian machine). Performance parts can be costly but unless u are thinking of heavy mods then it shouldnt be a problem. Normal mods on the transmission parts and an aftermarket exhaust system should suffice. Fuel consumption depends on how heavy your mods are and your riding style but overall shouldnt be too bad. On the good side, the runner is an extremely fun bike to ride. I knew i did for that short moment. Cheers!

Firstly.. Welcome to the auto-scoot world!

You can easily get the aftermarket exhaust pipes at any of the shops at kallang. There's a few choices so its all up to your preferences. A cheaper alternative would be to keep a lookout at the garage sales section where at times there are sales of aftermarket exhaust pipes.

There are lotsa gurus here or in any of the other threads to learn from so don't be shy to post your doubts. They are all very warm and friendly people. In the mean time, enjoy your ride. Cheers!

Yeah. last time i ride sp. then sell and change runner. First of all, its 2 totally diff bike. Runner play pick up. Sp play top end. Runner pick up is 2-3 time better then sp imo. overall. i find runner better cause smooth riding after changing to right item. FC wise depend on ur hand. if u always ride u can clock more in your FC. but u only ride once or twice every 3-4 day. then ur fc will suck due to petrol vapourate.

Runner maintenance is more exp than sp. Sp is old bike so u can drag ur service longer. i used to 3 mth per service for sp. runner is like 6 week per service. lol. Good Luck anyway.

1st of all, some backfires aint intentional but it's quite common for backfire to happen once the bike goes into engine braking.

I'm using LV SBK & K&N open pod air filter on my runner. Need to do some tuning and such before getting it to perform(No other add-on performance parts).

You mention that you change ur air filter. I assume that you kept the whole airbox on and just change the filter inside right? If this is the case, nt much tuning needs to be done should u install a aftermarket exhaust.

As for where you can get the exhaust from, i got my LV SBK brand new from Sunrise Eurobike around 2 months back, was charge $740 for it. I got my shop to install it and went for the exhaust inspection myself(Around $80 for this).

Bro, that post was meant for shary cos she mention change air filter so i assume it's just that piece of foam element inside the stock air box which has been change and not the hurriance, malossi,K&N open pod kind..

Unless like most of us who change to an open pod air filter then tuning is very necessary...
