1st of all, some backfires aint intentional but it's quite common for backfire to happen once the bike goes into engine braking.

I'm using LV SBK & K&N open pod air filter on my runner. Need to do some tuning and such before getting it to perform(No other add-on performance parts).

You mention that you change ur air filter. I assume that you kept the whole airbox on and just change the filter inside right? If this is the case, nt much tuning needs to be done should u install a aftermarket exhaust.

As for where you can get the exhaust from, i got my LV SBK brand new from Sunrise Eurobike around 2 months back, was charge $740 for it. I got my shop to install it and went for the exhaust inspection myself(Around $80 for this).

Erm... i don't think my mech juz change the air filter... he did something to it coz it sounded a bit loud than usual when i throttle. what's open pod?

wah... $740 + $80 that will be a total of $820. *Gulp*:faint:

I have to consider it first. Juz spent abt $300 + for servicing. Got another question... After my mech finish servicing and everything he mentioned about water pump... saying that i need to change it soon... was juz wandering if its becoz of incontact with alot of water? i mean this past few weeks has been raining heavily and each time i by pass AMK & Upper Thomson there is flood everywhere. after going thru alot of flooded area, my bike sounded AWFUL! when i throttle it jerked before moving off. Its like i ran over a kitten or something. It really irks me that i have to go to workshop twice.

Anyway, my mech said that my water pump is due to wear & tear. What's water pump? anybody care to enlighten me?

If the exhaust pipe is costly for you just wait for someone to sell off theirs. 2nd hand are far more cheaper. That jerking thing before moving off is a belt slip. Thats kinda common in an auto scoot. Just highlight it to your mech the next time you see him. About the water pump maybe someone else who is more knowledgeable (i recommend u Rastadan) can enlighten you. But from what i know that is the most costly part to change should it go 'kapoot'. Also a common problem in an auto scoot. Most runner would have to get it change after a few years.

Talking about Rastadan.. Where's the rest of the guys? Bila mau meetup?!

Why so serious?

Hi all, there seems to be very little information about the GPR exhaust system. Can any brother here who has it give a review about it compare with Leo Vince? How come alot of people are getting Leo Vince? Which is better and what is the market rate of this two pipe? Thanks!

Did the mech tune your carb after replacing ur stock air box with the open pod air filter? Definitely needs to be tune..One guy i can recommend is rastadan, very friendly guy who will ans any question which you might have thru sms.

Do note that with an open pod, when you get caught in a heavy downpour, the filter would be drench with water thus making your bike feels like it's suffocating when you throttle..

The Water pump aka coolant pump is a device which circulates your coolant around the engine to the radiator to cool down your ride. And from what i heard, it's very common to have it gone due to wear & tear..One advice i can give u is, nv let your reservoir goes out of coolant..

Yupx, wait for the 2nd hand SBK exhaust...Cheaper..

Open pod filter is more expose to the outside environment thus you need to wash and re-oil it on a more regular basis. And also the carb would need to be clean regularly.

Your coolant reservoir is just located behind your front panel(The panel whereby ur Gilera/Piaggo logo is place on).

For removal -> Remove the logo, unscrew the screw located behind, push the panel upwards before pulling it out towards you. You will beable to see the coolant level. In case u need to top up coolant, the reservoir cap is located underneath ur right handle(If u're standing infront of your bike). Just unscrew and top it off to a level between the min and max marking which you can find on ur coolant reservoir

Hey guys i would like to know if you guys know where to get the LCD digital speedometer for Naked bar. I know they do sell the mountain bike speedometer for the naked bar. But its not that accurate and it only shows the speed. I want to know if there's an LCD speedometer that indicate petrol level and also the speed. Thankss. =]

Look for KOSO meter's, however you must buy them online and ship in, try websites like scooter center under the speedometer section. Hope this would be a great help. (:

ooh ok ok i tried to search online too. but none of them are relevant. Thanks for the tip bro. I'll check out scooter-center. If you know how to get it without any hassle don't forget to inform me ya bro. Thanks. =]
