SBF Majesty 250/400 Cafe 2009 / 2010

For solo riding, and if you want HUGe storage space, 250cc version is the best. I'm getting at least 28km/litre, and I seldom go on expressways. If I use expressways often I can get 30-32km/litre. Of course, I don't push the scooter, so speed is always 70-80km/h.

 

For two up riding, and if you are not as patient as me, gotta get 400cc+ maxiscoots. I'm eyeing Burgman 400 after my Majesty. One of Silverwing's biggest turn off for me is the pillion footpegs. Footboards make alot of difference for pillion comfort.

Number 3, Majesty 250 actually has slightly bigger under seat space than Majesty 400. Can store things in the 'middle' part between the two sections.

 

And yes, 250 is slow, slower than those 200cc X9, X8 etc. But much better fuel consumption.

actualli the more I look at the yp250 online, the more I like it!

Think I'll jus settle for the premium sport for the premium price, provided I manage to get rid of my main ride now...

His is the 2007 limited edition,so I think post 2000 models parts should fit. Kindly sms me if u have one to sell. He loves his bike,I wanna try to help him restore it. Basically, I have a good condition yp250 with it's alternator coil and internal wiring "fried", looking at selling off the bike to salvage some cost as I'm totally broke and can't spend a dime on repair anymore.

Pls note that not all the parts from the 2000 model can be fit to the 07 model especially at the meter area cos the 2000 model meter is totally different from the 02 models onwards/....

 

Terrible one, the model that u should be looking at is 02 model onwards as they share similar meters and fairing.

 

only few things like front.rear side fairing and seat area can prob fit.the inner black portion confirm not 100% suitable.....

 

Perhaps terrible one, u can highlight what are the parts u looking for, then can prob advise what is suitable and what's not....

Actually, I have just the opposite. My Majesty is very good electrically (Replaced most parts in the past 2 years), but mechanically its falling apart.

another way is to get your friend to buy from Auto machinery located at rowell road which could be cheaper than Hong leong.

My advise is take the old filter ask your bike shop

Mod into k&n filter save your trouble and have more power

My yp 400 use that. More smooth and might save petrol but 1 thing is save your headachs

No particually mode no, best is form type. Cut to shape and use exopy glue.

yeah, i think i know already how to do it myself i just need to find a k&n model that fits to the size of the three filters.

 

btw, what bike did you get after yp400? it should better though.

Hi, like to know more.. U change all the 3 filters to K&N or only change 1 filter at the left side? As I vaguely remember that only the filter at the left side will impact the air intake.. Correct me if i'm wrong.. Cheers:cheeky:
