Change if you want to play safe. Though Jap design can trust. If it were me, I'll just wait for the warning light to come on lah (which will be at around 12,500miles I suppose).....

So far, with 1500 miles (2400km) on the K66 Heidenau tires, I'm still impressed with the grip of the tires, both on wet, damp and dry road. Looks like it's wearing out minimally too!!! Worth the investment.

I was using it on my last Silverwing, and it felt really good on cornering, and e-braking (not that I wanted to do all the time!! )

at first was afraid that the little noobs and the all weather pattern will give the bike a jittery ride, but quite impressed, the knobs absorb the roads well.

20121008_171609.jpg

our fellow silverwing rider momo bro was complaining about his handles got shaky when reaching touring speed, he changed steering cone, wheel bearing

but didn't solve the issue...but when he replaced his metzler tyres with K66, the jittery was significantly reduced...really puzzling haha

but personal experience and not advertising, K66s are really surprisingly good...now is to monitor the durability.

Yeap. Looking at the tires, I'd have thought it wouldn't last long, especially on wet / damp roads. But surprisingly, it still satisfies the riding experience for my Majesty 400.

Then again, it's only 2500km, but going on 3000km soon. Hope it can last 15-20k km =D
