Sorry got it wrong. Model is '09 model. White colour.

Asking for S$1,500. Bike still left 22 months instalment at Excel Cycle at Ubi for $228 per mth. I thought just add rider to the insurance and carry on. Road tax until 21 Oct' 2013. I've rode it for 2 years. Miles is 29,000. (About 46,000km). Including me just 2 owners.

My hp: 81000482

Majesty 400 is light, handles pretty well as a result. I'm getting on avg 26km/L (worse was 24km/L and best was 29km/L).

Underseat storage can fit 2 full face helmet. Front storage lockable glovebox can put 1 set of raincoat and parking coupons.

Only downside is its likely due for a replacement model soon. This scoot very stable till 150kph. Tops@170kph (but handlebar+floorboard vibrating like mad)....

I chose Majesty 400 over Silverwing 400 as its lighter and cheaper to get (Be it new/used).

Spare parts not a problem- Auto Machinery imports in genuine Yamaha accessories at reasonable prices.

The tire side wall for the first tire is 70% of the width of the tire, which makes it = 84mm, while for the latter, it's 90% of 110mm = 99mm. So the latter tire will have more rubber around the rim, suggesting a more comfortable ride (More rubber/ tire thus more cushioning, along with the suspension of course).

Check if the 120mm wide tire can fit onto the 110mm rims.

there is much difference as the later has more surface area... and in terms of cornering, it's also more stable.... i insisted on 10/90-12 tyres when i was still riding the bike. so far, 2 brands will normally have its size, michellin city grip and metzler feelfree...

prefer metzler as it's more sticky during weather....n u can see the wear and tear more visibly..

LAB carry Michelin.

Agree that Metzeler wears quite fast and whenever i need a change of tires, the importer and distributor- JR, always almost certainly don't have stocks.

I'm on Heidenau K66 tires now. Got from Brembo on SBF. Perhaps you may wanna pm him to check if he's got the size you want??

If i am you, i won't really try pilot sport as it's not so suitable and if i remember correctly, no 110/90-12 only 120/70-12.

Michellin normally holds stock for city grip - 110/90-12. U can look Winjing,********. He is a distributor for Michelin.

If u plan to change the rear tyre only, u can look for Brembo. He brings in Heidenau, the germany type which i tested. GOOD :) but unable to verify the durability as bike sold 3 months after i changed the tyre. For same model of threads, brembo don't have the front one.

Finally found city grip and changed to specific size... Gripping is good but I feel that when I am bending, there is a force that pull me further down... Isit tire pressure too high? The mechanic have checked my bearings and balancing which is okay..

No problem for car to bike but lorry u better double check cos if i remember correctly lorries on 24v not 12v.

As for bike to car, i don't think can support as the amp in bike is small to power up a car.

Anyone knows,

1) To change the colour of the bike. Change the whole cover or spray is better? and how much would that cost? - Spray better unless cover spolit. Cost depends on your requirements. i sprayed mine close to $1k inside and outside with rainbow effects.

2) is the cover same as YP400? can fit ontp YP 250? - different. Even in Yp250, u need to know which model cos also different cover sets; eg 4HC,5GM & 5SJ all different. especially 5GM & 5SJ, some same same different.

3) cost of new plastic for light/signal etc - can look for daredreamer for aftermarket ones.

4) if the dashboard is turning grey any solution can improve and protect ? Armoall? - many ways.... cheapest but dirty way is using used engine oil and with patience slowly restore it till it is black then use car tyre products to protect. Another is using shoe polish(kiwi) to restore. lastly can get from Japan those trim restorers which cost about $80-100 per 100ml to restore it.

Thanks in advance
