No doubt about it, more of my colleagues want to learn motorcycle riding. Cos they are starting to give up on public transport.

 

I had the thought of getting my bike and car license once i reached 18years old back in secondary school as i spend at least 1-1.5hrs getting home from school every day. Thankfully, im one of the more fortunate kids to have my dad fetch me to sch then, and thats with my sibling too.

clean up my majesty transmission n it feels gd nw......

juz to check...,my clutch comes with 3 shoes n synman mention 5 shoes on his bike.....

more shoes means faster engage n less vibration.....??

hmmmmmnnn.....,maybe the clanking is due to clutch wear.....

If i am not wrong, my variator also has 3 U-Shoes. But the change was done sometime back. Cant rmb. Haha.

Btw, remember my passing light switch that wasn't working....... its working now.......wahahahaha

 

I tried my luck and spray in WD40 for a few days.

 

Nothing happen from last week until this morning when I went to the bike shop and ask whether they can service it.

 

The mechanic press the passing light and said ....." it's working".

 

I was like ...... "wtf!"

 

So now I'm happily flashing my lights..... :p

Maybe I see wrongly.....lol

 

Thinking of changing my bell to those with the holes. It is suppose to give you a smoother ride but

might wear out your clutch pad faster.

Actually, my Majesty is quite smooth (to me), even at slow speeds. Of course abv 4000rpm, it becomes much smoother. But really, the vibes come in when moving off with a pillion.

 

Yeap, the flashing light is quite useful, but i think the horn works better in getting cars to get away from the lane markings for bikes to squeeze through.

 

Hmm, been using Shell 95 for my past tank refils, and only getting 22.3km/L. I just pumped 98 Oct. See if it gets me back to 24-25km/L. Otherwise, it could be the Schnell synthetic engine oil that Im using!

Full service ah? I think only Ah Chong Motors will be glad to oblige. Even my friend workshop dun wanna do full servicing as its time consuming - Valve clearance, FI Cleaner, etc.... Haha!!!

When you want to go to Ah Choong? I just went there this morning to change my exhaust back to the original one.

Synman.....,the 5 clutch shoe u mention is right as its e newer model clutch.....older is 3 shoes....price is 200++ for e whole clutch.....

 

That is not too bad.

 

Just change my exhaust back to original this morning. Love it!

 

Feels the power of the engine is more in tandem with the exhaust now.....;)

 

Thinking at a slightly later stage to change to the Dr Pulley Hit Clutch.

 

Apparently it solves a lot of the vibration issues. (Just thinking only!)

 

But will probably consider selling my Leo Vince exhaust.
