joby, ur idling confirm not enff le. better dun on choke too much. not gd for ur bike. its the same meaning as u opening up ur throat to swallow more food in and make urself suffer. same meaning as when u open choke u open up the "throat" of the bike n take in more petrol.

 

how ah... idling like that very dangerous lor... and i cant seem to find the valve to ''tune''... then only monday free...

nowadays i see more and more bengs on x1Rs. damn. soon or later the reputations is gonna be as bad as the "common" targets.

bring to any bike shop will do. juz ask them tune ur idling higher abit. normally wont charge u if the shop is good. for mi i would at least gib them kopi $$. haha ;D it take less then 5mins to set idling so dun worry bout wasting time! ;D

Saw 1 red n white X1-R at PIE towards changi, he exit the exit before upp thomson, steven's road ???

yup this morning went planet do... paiseh just ask him tune the idling ask him change engine oil and oil filter also... cos went pay instalment... think very month just let them do....

 

bring to any bike shop will do. juz ask them tune ur idling higher abit. normally wont charge u if the shop is good. for mi i would at least gib them kopi $$. haha ;D it take less then 5mins to set idling so dun worry bout wasting time! ;D

the idling is higher wont stall... but i feel like not as stable lor... means sometime like higher abit then drop... higher then drop...

haha no lah i just saying only... ah beng or not also friendly wan...

im thinking of changing my carb and also adding cdi to my x-1r..

the issue here is that.. will there be any problems after doing all this?

heard from some people.. that because of cdi, we will tend to drag our bike a bit more hence can cause our engine problem and also piston to scratch one day..

i also check out with a mechanic, he says problems like that wont appear as long as we regularly change our Engine oil, filter etc...

so what you guys take on this? im so blur right now.. need help..

i dont want after adding cdi, den my piston jam or scratch, jialat..or even worse.. engine overhaul.. come out money again...

changing the cdi wun jam yr bike.. but changing the carb tend to comsume petrol more.. if u wan speed,u pay for it
