can I ask what's your rear tyre size? You using BT039?

If you look from the rear the tyre are more to the left of the mud flap?

 

guys is it safe to spray WD-40 into the ignition keyhole?

I had that squeaking sound whenever front brake is engage. Some members suggest it might due to brake dust or wear on brake pad.

Chain loose? Need to untight the nut on the rotating shaft of the rear wheel and pull back till the chain "straighten", might need to adjust the the nut of the swingarm too depends.

Best get a mech they will settle it for you. Hassle free.

I lube the chain once every week... mech suggest once every 3 days if its rainy season. If possible clean the chain before applying lube, if not sludge would form.

hey guys... i'm a p plate new x1r rider,onli 2 months,never regret buying,fbd plate at 4k onli .. the other day an rxk experience malay guy told me that x1r gantong must jaga.. i just smiled and move off,at traffic light ma .. wats gantong guys? my front got 'eeeeeeeekkk,eeeeeeeekkk' sound when brake,i donoe whether fork or brake pad or wat lah,i ever ask mechenic,he say nothing lah onli rubber,but now two months liao still got sound .. haiz .... the other day my frend had a round at carpark with my bike,he said my chain loose,he ask me whether i got tompang fat chicks or not,i said no,maybe i put too much chain lube,guys,how often should i spray that chain lube? during what kind of weather? or isit kena rain onli then put chain lube?? u guys help me pls ........... anyway i LOVE the LOOK of u guys x1r man .. COOL!!!!

firstly, gantong is suspension. well, for our mini-bike the stock suspension is not beri gd, therefore we must take gd care of it. dun pillion too heavy ppl or let 2 fat pigs sit on top and bounce up n down much if u dun wanna change ur suspension so soon.

 

secondly, the brake sound hav eek eek eek sound is normal becoz the brake pad and brake disc is quite near to each other and its new therefore got such sound. my bike till now is 9k mileage le but my sound is still beri loud even if i brake. dun worry bout it! as long as can brake its alrite!

 

thirdly, the chain u needa put chain lube as wad mild_slevin said. tat's the way most ppl do too! too loose can go to ur bike shop to tighten. if u dun hab any bike shop tat u can trust in mind can juz find us! all the x1rs' will definitely help u.

wow 4k flat???? for 1st or 2nd?? where did u buy?? then now it all depends if anyone wans to take over my bike, times r bad and company are cutting back on the loans they gif out.... what are the things that usually ppl do as in cosmetic wise, cut seat?? sport rims?? racing footrest?? i don't think i will be doing performance mod, tired of hiding from TP/ROV
