Actually, it's very individual but I would say change of exhaust wud be a better investment den CDI..

 

Exhaust -> CDI -> Carb

I used to experiment with sprockets and sotong tyres before. top speed reached 140+ on my meter. but people say our meter not accurate.

How they know it's not accurate arh??

IMHO, diff bikes will have different torque and thus different speed..

 

The other day we did convoy, I asked two of the riders, we were riding almost at the same speed..

 

Lolx, but if I were to ride with my other frens of all range of cc bike.. We all have diff speed at the same time..

 

As long u are happy at your speed, that is wat matters..

i only changed my exhaust and the max i tried was 160km/h according to the meter. hear quite a few people saying their bike max only can reach 140-150km/h , that's when i thought maybe my meter got problem :lol:

basically, all the meters on bikes and cars are not accurate. the closest reading you can get is from the GPS. i can be travelling 120km/h as shown on my meter and my bf's R1 is only reading 90km/h on his meter. another friend of mine tried 299km/h on his R1 and at the same time, the GPS only show 280+km/h

In fact, stock gives you 110 on the meter..

Changing exhaust.. Prolly gives you extra 10km/h..

 

Sprocket ratio only gonna lessen the stress on your engine wen u reach top speed.. Rpm is prolly lesser when u reached top speed if u change to a smaller sprocket.. At a longer time..

no worries. i usually ride with only 1 headlight on. the other headlight i went to install HID and i dun really used it that often.
