Guys, did fix gpr this morning.... Pick up was okie but top end... Jialat... Any comments??

GPR on racing kit or not?

If your not using the race kit, no matter how you tune or set. Top end you will lose out and getting to top is super slow...

It's either racing kit or internal mod to the GPR... Mind me asking which GPR are you using?

Hi guys,

 

Just got my spark half an hour ago. It's clutchless automatic. When i step the gear from 1-2 its easy to step. But from gear 2-3 and 3-4 i must stepdamn hard before the gear shifts.

 

What's the problem? Clutch plates?

are you using the mineral oil since it's just out from the shop ?

could be the reason...

change to a better lub oil. :)

For me, it changes the output air flow thus giving more power to the bike. If u notice, stock exhaust, the header is so small compare to aftermarket ones. Fuel intake I nvr notice..

 

For my pevious x1r, am using abm racing n did change the pilot jet only... Fuel intake same...

 

For my spec 3, using Leovince SBK endcan n change the pins only... Fuel intake.. POWER! 18litres I can hit 350km with vtec.

 

So, actually cub change exhaust okie la bro... Unless u change sp carb, rextor cdi n big bore with fz150i kit la... Hehehe

 

This is my experience only on exhaust, others may differ...

 

a question here bros...

 

can we modified the stock exhaust ?

cut the center part and take out the blocks inside (watever you call it )

then weld back. the exhaust will become shorter a bit.

sound is still the same as stock.

Performance wise very good.

We do not need to touch the carb n engine parts.

 

will we pass inspection ?

Any bros here can advise ?

rather u get a gpr pipe,lab selling 300 plus brand new... or get a 2nd hand pipe from forum...

It might help, a bit. Have you ever tried a clutchless spark before? It's just made that way.

 

the cheapest i hv asked was 6300.

 

including insurance if u r above 31.

 

comes with IU box and front baSket .

If we are still in the days where there wasn't any legal aftermarket exhausts, i would understand why people would mod their stock exhausts. Come on, save some cash and get one which is legal so you could blow at the TP's and they can't do anything about it. I think.

Shop? Few of us ordered through an agent who now is no longer active here, Mr Lim Ah Wan.

Hmmm is tat so... Btw how does this racing kit looks like? Mine doesn't have a db killer intact btw... My friend sold to me also dunno n i also gundu... Hahaha.. Neway mine is the 2gen...

 

Baja Hitam, no need mod stock exhaust... No point... Forum like pasar malam... Tell u frankly, mine is only 100bucks... But friend sell it to me laaa... Lalalalalalala....

 

Last time, Did ask my mechanic in jb bout the modded stock exhaust to my previous x1-r, he say I was nonsense n I ended up in fixing abm racing(which looks like the stock ones).. Cost:S$70
