Need Some Advice Here. I Have A Problem With My Bike. I Overhauled It In February At Bikeworks At Kaki Bukit. I Asked Him To Change Everything To Original Standard Parts As Before That, I Was Using Racing Block Everything. So He Charged Me $600 For New Block, New Piston, New Conrod, New Cam Everything.

 

But Recently The Engine Starts To Make Lots Of Noises & Vibration Again. I Can Only Go 60kmh Now. Go 80kmh Sure Vibrate Like Hell. Asked A Mech In JB To Open Up & Check & He Said Needs To Overhaul.

 

I Really Wonder What The **** Did Bikeworks Do With My Bike. Paid $600 For Nothing Sia. I Dont Whack My Bike Till 120kmh Or What Sia. I Dun Even Go To Lane 1 On E-ways. All The Way Around 70kmh to 90kmh On Lane 4 Usually.

 

So The Prob Is Now I Need To Overhaul It Again. No Way Am I Gonna Do It In Spore As Might As Well I Get A New Bike. I Cannot Sell My Bike As My Dad Doesnt Allow Me To. He Doesnt Want Me To Take Loans As Im Going NS Soon. For This Bike, It Has Been Fully Paid.

 

So What Should I Do? Money Doesnt Matter Much To Me. I Believe I Can Afford. But Its A Waste If Everytime It Gets Spoilt In The End.

 

Overhaul In Spore But Standard Like ****. So Shud I Overhaul In JB Since Its Cheap? Maybe I Shud Get Parts From Rowell Road & Ask The JB Mech To Fix For Me? Suggestions?

I so wanted an x1 the first time it came into production. managed to try a try a friend's and it shook when it hit 90km/h. In the end I got some other bike.

 

I would recommend you to head down to Planet and let ah chong diagnose the problem for you.

Its because the proportion of the bike is wrong. The rider too big for the bike!

Hello bros.. I have a friend who is interested in riding spark. hes been riding for 6 years and have R6 06' as a weekend bike, interested in getting spark for transport. As he used to ride a wave, he's leaning to getting the semi auto spark..

 

A few questions:

1. how is the performance compared to clutched sparks?

2. maintenance; semi-auto easier or clutch easier?

3. any other difference other then the gearing system? (like coversets, engine etc)

 

in my point of view, I rarely see the semi-auto spark around. Seems to me people prefer the clutch version better?

There are some things in life that we just cant avoid bro, **** happens. Anyway, i suggest you overhaul in jb, ask your mech whether he has/can source out the Yamaha Genuine parts there first, if no luck, get the parts at Rowell Rd and overhaul there. Thats my opinion.

 

I agree to this, get a 2nd opinion first before you head up there bro...

Why would you want to use 28mm when u can use an SP carb, just becareful if you want to use that carb... Jetting are diff and might be hard to find...
