Was Otw To Town For Work Around 10pm & Just Entered PIE From Bedok North Doing 70 On PIE Then Suddenly Got KRAAK KRAAAKK KRAAAAKK Then Quickly Clutch In & Coast To The Road Shoulder. Cudnt Kick Down The Kick Start As I Feel Piston & Conrod Snap Liao. Pushed Bike To The Nearest Exit Which Was Like 300m Away, Park On Pavement, Lock Handle Bar & Rear Brake Disc & Took The Bus Home.

 

Now Waiting For A Good Night To Ask A Friend To Help Push To JB. Do In Singapore Is Damn Expensive & Same Results In The End. For What. Haiyah.

Ive Tried All I Can Dude. He Says Who Ask Me Mod My Bike So Much. Bikes Are Meant For Transportation Only Why Must Put So Much Accessories. I Agreed On The Transportation Part & Told Him That Whatever I Mod, Its Just The Outlook. I Didnt Touch The Engine So It Has No Link To Me Modding & Engine Getting Spoilt. Its Just Tat My Bike Is Something I Use Everyday. It Feels Good Riding A Bike That Feels Nice & Look Nice. Whatever I Mod Is Using Spare Money. I Always Settle My Bills Etc First. I Dun Have Loans Or Debts With Anyone. I Just Cant Understand Why He Wont Understand Me.

Any one can help me fix the problem about my rear brake? My rear brake is faulty. no matter how i tried to repair it at diff bike shops. see the attached picts.

 

The circled part in red with the arrow pointing does not seems to work. when i step on the rear brake the rear brake light will light up but release the rear brake the rear brake light will not go off cos the part indicated by the red arrow, the 'head', will not be pushed back upwards by itself after being pulled down by the spring connected to the rear brake level. can that part, the 'head', be lubricated or must i change the whole mechanism?

For starters its brake lever not level.

 

About your problem. Have you ever detached and "opened" up the braking mechanism? If you haven't there should be a spring inside that helps to push it back up to its original position. My guess is its either missing or its broken. Yeah there is a smaller spring inside the black brake mechanism thingy. The spring you can see outside (in your pic) doesn't help much in pushing it back up to its original position.

 

If all else fail. Just get a new one. Its pretty cheap to replace.
