hey guys, i've got a question that i couldnt figure out....

i've just changed my meter to the koso digital one, and i was wondering what's the percentage to adjust to for the tyre circumference compensation?

 

PS: im using dunlop 80/80 tyres..

80/90 is using 110-115% for actual true speed....

Use a GPS Speedometer and calibrate accordingly. If that is unavailable to u, another option is to get a friend using Speedohealer-calibrated bike to ride alongside u. From there get the speed n adjust accordingly.

 

Do note Speedohealer are mostly on big bikes.

 

I used a GPS.

Its a little troublesome to do the 2nd option. Hope this helps.

 

Mine is still on stock tyres.

Set it to 100-110%. It should be just about right. :thumb:

Big bikes speedo also not accurate. Even cars speedo also not accurate. GPS it might be accurate but it will vary with the mobile speed camera being used by the authorities. Either you get caught speeding and know your actual speed or an alternative is to look for roads with the speed cam that will display your speed and adjust accordingly. One place is the exit to Bedok from PIE going towards Changi. Try it at your own risk. Ride safe. :cool: Edited by duo

True... Big bikes stock meter are not accurate.. thats y i suggest u look for a friend who is using a Speedohealer on their big bike.

It should sound different due to it's new length, how different i do not know. Biggest problem here is, nobody will feel it's loud enough because it still has the silencer.
