I did 130 a few times on the way to work. One time, the engine died right after I close the throttle.

Overhaul $500++

Lesson learnt.

Also found out there was sand in my engine somehow =[

$500 sgd can go jb change brand new engine liao.. tink so..

 

normal overhual in jb cost about 300rm nia..

haha yeah mann, good to know that Im not the only one after all.

I think what X1 riders need to remember is that we bought the bike at a cheaper price then any other cubs there eg Spark or X1-r. That being said, its obvious that there is a reason why our bikes are cheaper. Its less powerful then the rest because of the smaller engine.

But also that being said, we have certain perks like cheaper parts and stuff like that.

So pros and cons.

Anyways, last week I think I saw Eva's bike. She has a button on the right handlebar console.

I wonder whats that button for cause my bike dont have.

from 1L to .1L sure a big JUMP (backwards)

erm harmful to maintain 100? i will say abit la.. i use it for despatch, i always whack only when on highway, 100 ~ 120 but most of the time is 100 to 110 lo.. been riding for 2 years, piston still ok, but slowly the sound is coming out after 2 years though...

still able to ride like b4, no diff

 

Wah 100 can not arh.. A bit problem sia.. I notice that 100 on this bike is like 80 on the car leh.. Btw anyone did big bore upgrade at unique motosport b4? Will a big bore and a smaller spoket give better cruising speed? Will the consumption shot very high? I m currently doing 50km/l, amazing to me.

Dont do big bore 1st..

Try down size sprocket to reduce strees on engine.. Bike might even hit 140km/h.

Remember u saw a black X1R with delivery bag at Grange Road? Thats me..

X1 is the best for FC, small cc, but provided u dun whack so much la haha

Haha.. Change smaller sprocket will do... Change de rear sprocket 2size 33... Dun do bore up... I rather u change 2stroke bike like 125z.. Haha.. This bike is not meant for high speed cruising...

X1 for low speed cruising while smoking on the 4th lane of the expressway while you admire the trees and flowers and nice cars and bikes overtaking you affordlessly.

erm... pick up wise sure become slower... but u can cruise at 100km/h easily and in more comfort as ur bike nid not to rev that high as compare to stock sprocket...

same as normal bike... 125z has 6 gear compare to other cub which has 4 gear only...

my x1 got this rattling sound whenever i drag gear. idk where the sound come from. a few days ago i just changed engine oil and spark plug and front brake pads. help me please!
