I prefer sports rims coz its tubeless.. if i run over a nail, the tyre will not flat out immediately.. I will be able to ride safely and change to a new tyre..

As for spokes rims, its nicer but using a tube inside.. so if i run over a nail, my tyre will flat out immediately.. thats just my opinion..

as for changing of coverset, I will definitely go for paintwerk den change coverset unless my fairings are starting to crack here and there..

as for how long you are going to ride an X1, its just long enough coz the value has no value.. I would recommend you to keep the bike and use it as a side bike if youre thinking of getting a bigger class bike. Repairs and maintenance on X1 is way way way much cheaper than bigger class...

as for an overhaul, RM500 shud be enough.. but must leave the bike at the workshop unless you make some special arrangement for them to fix your bike in the morning and collect it at night.. usually, you can overhaul the bike in about 2 - 3 hour..

good choice to keep coz if u sell also cant get much from shop.. maybe ard $400 or $500... as for the cracks.. you can send for respray and they can putty or refibre the cracks.. as for the rims, Im lucky that the bike came with the 3 legged sports rims.. yes it looks nice and cleaning the rims are much more easier...

@sujak perhaps i should bring to shop and see if they can do anything about my fairings lo... how much does the 3 legged rims cost?

for this kind of cracks, they can help to refibre for you and then perhaps drill a hole through.. depends on how badly damaged the area is and the amount of cumbersome work needed.. you can try and ask for quotation and compare them with the price of a new coverset..

another alternative is to use a new coverset ($120 i think) from LAB and go to auntie shop for full decal ($150).. Total cost should be cheaper than a new paintwerk... You will need to do some research on your own for the paintwerk coz it depends from shop to shop...

hm... maybe if i wan do a paintwork i will go into msia. my guess is that my fairing the damage at the joints is quite bad. nvm, maybe can go to my friend shop in msia ask ask see how lo. thanks bro! now u only riding x1? or got other bike also?

Hi fellow x1 riders, 2 questions here.

1) Any of you here tried modding spark135 racing qatar onto your x1? Is it uncomfortable?

2) My seat the lock got some problems, must slam hard then it will go in. Must I get a new seat or can it be repaired?

i dun hv the address coz I followed a friend to that place. Apparently, you need to make an appointment if you want to come down coz the junkyard is not open all the time. You don't have to search, jus call and ask if they have the items needed. If have than they will ask you to come down and they will put them aside.. thats what my friend did..

if ur looking for parts for X1, i rather you go to united impex and purchase them.

ya u kena chop.. a normal DID chain with did sprockets should cost you about $50... If I am not wrong, YSS for x1r is a single shock.. ours is a dual shock.. so i dun hink can fit...
