Ya la you open full of cos jiak you la.... you pull open the throttle the wire keep pulling the carburettor slide wide open let all the petrol squirt in more...

 

If you want to go fast on a 2b 4 stroke... you cannot smack open the throttle from the start... will jiak you.... You need to open the throttle in small increments "on-off on-off" motion. Let it pick up speed a little bit at a time... be patient...

 

Today i shot my fully loaded 3 box bike along the PIE at XXXkm/h doing that.. (cannot state, big brother is watching)

i think to get 30km/h is really bad for a kupkia.. I dun think it is your riding style coz Im using fast throttle and I always whack my throttle when moving off and will maintain constant speed at 90 - 100km/h.. am able to get between 40-45km/l... perhaps you travel in urban areas and engage in a stop-go-stop-go motion...

 

or maybe someone must have rebore your block till the last size.. (not big bore kit).. get opinions from bike shop.. the seniors here like to visit ah chong from planet...

ya xXxRatedxXx, i do the 'on off on off throttle motion.. even on 3/4, i did that too.. hya, recently alot of 'big brother' lurking on the road.. haha

Maybe time to service your bike dude... change engine oil, spark plug, air filter chain sprocket and service your carburettor....

 

Ya.. I do tat monthly.. Jus tat previously I dun ride so much on this x1.. Then only recently I found out this prob when I rode it often..

guys, i have this problem where my is making alot noise sometimes when travelling at 110km/h. Is it normal? Where is a good shop to diagnose if my bike got engine problems? And also i think i smell of engine oil after riding, is it because of my gasket? How much will top overhaul cost?

 

What kind of sound, and from where? You can try my shop at serangoon north ave 4 first centre. AC motor. First floor. Engine oil burning means piston ring no good already... oil leak into your combustion chamber and come out of your exhaust. Top i think $200-$400. Correct me if wrong. I don't ride x1

Top Overhaul (Very Convenient Plan)

1) change top block, change piston, piston ring, gasket and eo --> $180-$200

2) rebore top block, change piston, piston ring, gasket and eo --> $130-$150

 

Alternatively, you can buy your parts and ask shop to do for you..

 

1)Go to United Impex and buy the following..

Top Block + Piston + Piston Ring + Gasket + Engine Oil = $100 (depends on the brand of engine oil you choose..)

 

2) Then visit your favourite bike shop and inquire for labour cost for top-overhaul..

I went to M1 Motor along Changi Rd. They charged me $30 for labour. BUT i waited for about 1 week..

 

you want fast service, go malaysia.. dey can do it for you on the day itself.. be warn that they might use inferior quality parts.. always request for genuine parts of bring your own...

another solution when travelling at 110mph, put on a full face helmet to reduce that noise...
