Vosper... do let me know too.. i will like to meet up with X1 Riders.. anyway my X1 like got this problem.. its like when i hit 80km/h onwards. my bike will have this woooo woooo wooo wooo sound plus jerk jerk jerk jerk.. change spark plug change Engine oil. but its no longer as smooth as before.. anyone knows why? is it tuning problem?

anyway, I am not really sure abt your problem but I think it should be your chain and sprocket wornout.. you might want to check that out..

 

as for me, when i travel 90km/h onwards, the bike tends to vibrate hard (as if screaming to me to slow down).. you can imagine the sreaming sound of the engine when my bike hits 110km/h.. but usually when I slow down at high speed, i will have this jerk jerk vibration.. so moral of my story is when going fast, dun slow down.. hehehe...

 

got a stupid monday blues story to share..

Woke up early on MOnday morning. Then laze ard the house until its time to go to work. Reach carpark and realise that I am actually late for work. So start kicking the bike, kick one time and the bike starts.. after 10 secs, it stops.. and the hell starts from there. Tried kicking it so many times but the bike justwont start.. i was like WTF, at this time you playing punk with me.. tried to check if the carb got water, negative.. tried to push start negative.. decided to take mc for the day.. after calling my workplace, i tried kicking the bike one more time.. and walla.. its working.. KNNBCC.. luckily MC cost me $6.. haha..

Hey Sujak! you know i went to 3 diff workshop to check on this issue. i tell me change spark plug (which i did) end up same. went to another workshop tell me change EO plus wash carb (which i did) end up same. yest a workshop in woodlands tell me engine got problem already. need to do overhaul!!! (i also was like HUH WTF). yest a friend intro me to his good friend workshop in JB. called him told him wat im facing. he told me chain and sprocket. (which sujak said the same) lol! im going in JB later to get it fixed plus change some accessious.. wish me luck!!

Bro fiso, update us soon on the damage cost.. am looking for a cheap and good place to service my bike.. things i want to do..

 

- Wash carb, change eo and spark plug

- change fork oil

- change battery

- change tyre (tt dunlop how much)

- change front brake pads

- change brake cable and clutch cable as well..

 

Tot of doing them in jb since its alot of stuff and the savings will be worth the distance and time..

i changed DID chain plus the spockets, a pair of Suspension, changed EO, wash CARB and i went to put a batch of LED light on the rear below the seat when brake got light (now den i think can pass or not coz its damm bright! lol)

 

total damage RM297

 

personally its a freaking CHEAP! Anyway i was quote SGD150 for the DID chain plus spocket. wow.. the price different is so huge... If anyone is keen to go in. can jio me along!

my bb still in hospital.. mech taking his own sweet time.. haiz... anywayz, if u got 750, easier to go up north.. but i think 400 should suffice.. cheaper rd tax.. hehe..
