Excel - Think they are the distributors for GPR pipe as well...

GPR Exhaust Systems are imported by GPR Asia directly and Excel Cycle is the appointed main stockist and dealer of GPR Exhaust Systems.

Cheers!

After i read all the comments, maybe one simple question can solve the misunderstanding, [ Is there any bike shops which have no complains? ]

i bought 4 bikes from EXCEL CYCLE i had never encounter any problems from them, to me, the lady admin is very friendly at all times , the sales person is also very well Knowledgeable and responsible, the mechanic AH BOON is the best, he mod almost every of my bike to the ultimate performance level. i had no reasons to side them by saying all these good words becos i am no longer riding anymore but i still goes back to visit them once in a while becos Excel CYCLE is my 2nd home.

never bought a bike there so i wouldnt say i noe but i did a few servicing with them and i could say a job well done..maybe coz i can get along with 1 of the mech la...

not all bikeshops will do swee swee la from my opinion but i do believe that if let say they anyhow do the bike then u can always take ur bike elsewhere...Trial n error kind of stuff...Its ok to hear gd n bad reviews from riders abt any shops but in the end u have to decide for yourself...and always take into consideration that sometimes ur first visit there might not be pleasant but maybe ur 2nd is.....so for me usually i will tag along with my friends to go to shops to do servicing n stuff to do my own findings...

Other than that maybe can wait for other riders to contribute...:thumb:

What shop is consider as below:

1) Good or not-

-If rider has relevant knowledge or experience, why bother with the advice or comments from them. Its up to you to listen or trust them.

2) Expensive or not-

-If rider has more than enough cash, what is called expensive.Different place and mechanic demands different payment.

If operate a shop so easily, maybe can try it .

For simple servicing,I patronise Planet and listen to Ah Chong nonsense.

For detail and complex work, I visit others like Sin Boon,Motor Factor and etc which was more ex by 20%.

Pls do not shoot me,Just 5 cents only.

well depends, coz for some bike usually they will say they have already change the eo n stuff and some shops wen they say they will change for me i would request to be there...:thumb:

Like shops that i been to s1 motoring, leong seng, mah mtr are some of the shops that i have requested from to change stuff before i ride it out...usually i would explain like this is the way they can make me trust them and come back to them if sth goes wrong or i need future servicing....it works for me but also depends on how u communicate..

Usually i will make sure they write on the receipt of my downpayment what we agreed on say like changing eo, sliders, brake pads etc.....:thumb:

Even if u can get along with them, just be sure to make them write on the receipt...its to back u up bro..

Stuff like what u mention can happen upon collecting the bike so tts y its wise to get them to write black n white and never be alone when ur collecting ur bike, its always advisable to have an experienced rider with u...

I just traded in a bike with Excel and I can tell you that they give excellent service. David and Lawrence really went to extreme lengths for me to make sure I received everything ahead of time and in good order.

They take a personal interest in the bikes they sell and I can tell you they want to make sure you ride away happy, which I did. A few days later, some damage repairs needed to be done on my bike (my fault, not theirs) and again, I received nothing but superb service when they chased for parts for me and made sure it arrived as soon as possible.

So my own experience has been a very good one - just thought I wanted to share this with everyone.:thumb:
