Bike act like no patrol!

hey guys i got some sort of emergency! help! my honda cbf 150 like got no smooth flow of petrol going to the engine liddat... ride halfway then have a short power loss then continue running again..

 

it also happen when i throttle up, there'll be a lag before the engine rev, it never happened before until today! it also happen when i maintain steady rpm, then there'll be a temp power loss.. act almost as if there is no more patrol in the tank,, but prblem is i still have full tank! the bike still going, didnt die totally, but scared will eventually die completely!

 

i was adviced against going to boon siew. can someone help me out?

Maybe your petrol is contaminated, it happen to 1 of our CBR150 rider recently ....

hey same like mine 2..when i ask my fren they ask me 2 check my fuel tank wheather water inside...when i check my tank alot of water inside..must drain all out..troublesem 4me

if after washin carb and the problem persist , check ya fuel line .. mite be clogged also ..

fwah.. water go into tank.. dats serious.. better replace tank sealant..

bad weather season.. get a bike cover or someting..

ehh i go shell to pump petrol one leh! such a reputable company provide contaminated fuel?! but yes, I thank you all who contributed, I will ask the shop to check all these

dun mean dat shell petrol is bad.. i using shell for 4 years and stil good..

they mean dat mayb yr tank sealant rubber has hardend up thurs w/o e protection..

dis u can do a check yrself.. open tank cover and inspect e rubber seal..

Problem solved! I tell you all what happened already it will be so stupid I think you all will vomit blood! But fellow new riders like myself can learn.

 

One thing about my bike is that the air intake in under the seat. Another thing is that I like my bike very clean so I put a wiping cloth there.

 

Duno want to laugh or cry. SPend $12 on mechanic who clean my carb for me and it was no use. A fellow CBF 150 rider see my bike for me and immediately catch the problem FOC!!

$12 for a lesson learnt. quite ok la. at least never kanna carrot

Ya $12 still ok.. dun eat 2 days can already lor.. The thing is I drive car before ride bike.. The air intake usually at the car grill there.. Never thought bike air intake wld be at such a place

maybe can try changing to a hi-flow air filter like k&n.

You are not the first and neither will you be the last to do such a thing.

 

There are people who put cloth and even raincoats under their seats and then end up with the problem you faced or worst.. jam the locks so that they cannot unlock the seat.

 

Just don't have these things sucked into the carb and then jam the throttle slide wide open.. then close throttle also no effect. Very dangerous situation then..especially if there is a corner coming up.
