Huh? No lah. I don't shoot. Haha. But am thinking of having a camera mount, to video me daily rides.

I used to have the GoPro Hero HD2, until it flung off me helmet on BKE-PIE. Haha.

Oh I see. Hmm this thread seems so quiet and i think 2 are the only guys in the room now lol...

Yup. But the video quality, especially the sound ain't fantastic. So it's fate that left it on the centre divider. Haha.

Do you still have your LED lights?? Still green in color or can change color?? Haha.

Well, there aren't many Downtown's/ Xciting on the road to begin with. And supposing only 5% of Downtowners/ Xciting are SBF members....

You get the idea =D

Still green, it's for lighting myself up in pitch dark NSHW. So changing colours for vanity was not my intention. Hehe

No I don't for normal days. I'm an old man. The only times I do, is during heavy rains where added visibility to yourself is appreciated.

Huh? You where have old? You look so young in your avatar pic. Haha.

I'm the opposite. Old man trapped in young body. Haha. I've still not seen anyone of me age riding a maxi-scoot. Haha!

Anyways, why I ask if you on your LED lights here is cos, I read somewhere if lights/ design stickers are distracting, TP can stop you and issue fines.... Haha. Something on the count of "Causing unwanted distraction to other motorists" or sorts.... Haha.

Wa Shunoski.. u spend only SGD46 for your petrol to Hatyai? One way or to and fro? And its gd to know someone else staying in Sengkang is riding KYMCO too lol..

Hey Bro,

Dun mind but what do u mean when u say cannot b on par? In terms of?

That means if Xciting 400 is worst off than any of the 400cc scooter. Kymco can go fly kite ha ha.

Silverwing is an exception from this comparison as it is a twin piston.

My idea of a newly release 400 should not be just another average scooter. The bench mark are already set by different manufacturer.

So IMO new 400 regardless of which company should be better or at least be the same as what is already offered in the market.

The small storage on the Xciting 400 is already considered a minus point albeit it's a sports scoot.

Performance wise, Maxsym are good for cornering, Having the same full fork like Xciting.

Don't want a sport scooter that's just for looks.

People will say a scooter is still a scooter, whats all these sportiness that can't even come close to a sports bike handling. Then again why not?

These people should seriously question Yamaha then with their sport scooter that's not just for show - T-Max.

Yes, 2nd time I ride to Hatyai I paid $49sgd to/fro. It's higher than previous because I was doing 120km/h(GPS) average, which is like 130 on speedometer.

Whoa! You're really daring man! Go Malaysia on your own. Haha.

Ever since the KL trip with different motorbikes that I went with (although there were 2 Xciting 300, 2 other DownTown 300 - I'm the only DT125i), there were new Honda GL1800, GSX-750K7, Honda CBR1000, Honda STx1300 Pan European, 2x Honda Shadow 750, BMW R1150RT, Honda CB400 S3, it was a good experience for me lah.

But not fun to be going so slow at 110-120kph. Haha. Need 2A.

Ahh. Quite scary to see the fuel gauge drop like xiao also. 22km/L means 10L only can travel 220km. Haha.

Actually it's LTA that will stop you. TP is more on traffic rules enforcement. Of course, they will stop you and handle your case to LTA if they find you 'distracting' enough. I think it's more distracting when girl sits pillon with hotpants and you're staring at their butts while riding behind.

It's 120km/h on your speedometer, it's definitely less if you track your speed by GPS. Even at my worse fuel consumption, which was made by blasting down NSHW, I still get 29km/litre.

Btw, does anybody knows where I can get the Rizoma Handle Grip in Singapore? Any dealer here?

You can try Hodaka Motorworld. They got quite a range of rizoma.

Unique motor

and check with Mr Herbert, he can order. There's a Kymco Accessories catalog. The Downtown grip is fix as a whole assembly with throttle cable stay. Not sure about Xciting. Call Herbert to check. If not buy already cannot fit.

Hi Parotae,

Thanks! I actually google Motorworld but from their website they don't have the one I'm looking for. I think it should fit for my Xciting cos Herbert is using one for his My Road and I wanted him to get one for me too. But he say it was given by his friend and will check where to get it for me.

Anyway, since motorworld is so near MS, will check with Herbert again before I head down to MW.

Thanks alot Bro!

Hmm.

I believe direct flights to LAX will have a little fewer people? Means chances of getting the whole bench is higher? Haha!

I'll seriously consider SIA then if that's the case. =)

For Cathay Pacific, gotta change plane.

I think I saw this too late..but they don't normally allow disembarkation from the plane for stop-over...Direct flight wont necessary have fewer ppl too cos they will fetch pax from SIN to NRT/LAX. Then NRT oso got ppl boarding for LAX unless you flying in low season lol...
