How come we are the same ah? Full gear on 2B scoot... Hahaha...

 

I also ride wearing my DryMaster Storm Jacket and Shoei Neotec Crystal White. I also wear waterproof SIDI riding boots too.

 

B'cos the jacket I'm wearing looks like a raincoat ma (Drymaster Storm Jacket) so during the day ppl tot I siao ah so hot still wear rain jacket lol.

 

Wa finally out liao dat time I chk still no psb approved yet. Crystal White so chio? Gotta go find out liao but zzz now no bullet liao gotta wait for awhile before I get the helmet. Parotae did u personally try the helmet? Is it good?

Anyone changed battery at MS for their DT300i?

 

My bike is coming to 2 years old. Nowadays BATT light is on (used to be off) prior engine start. Starting still no problem. Just wanna change for precautionary. Wonder how much do they charge? Or is their any better alternative brand/place to recommend?

Ok fc report after a change of belt...

Mileage when change 29640km.

Pick up is better.moving off at 2.8k rpm.

60km/h, 4.5k rpm

Fc-27km/L, ron98 esso, urban all the way.

Rider 90kg/pillion 65kg/load 10kg.

Downtown manual put 20k km, but I don't dare to ride till that long. I changed out mine at 14.5k km and already got crack lines. Also, if the belt quality is not good, better change it out to a decent quality one. Belt don't play play. Wait snap, the variator and clutch will also be affected.

 

Nobody want to buy Downtown 125i. I put my scoot up for sale for quite some time liao. I think people go buy DT200i. Haha.

 

These days people so rich. Can afford to spend over $10k on a brand new Class 2B scooter. If it were me, I wouldn't wanna spend even half as much on a used scoot, especially for Class 2B lor. Super not worth it.

Good to know someone out there wearing it as well. But I still lacking the pants. Motorworld say they will contact me once the pants is here but until hear nothing from them I oso sian liao. But now riding w/o a rain pants feel so insecured. Did u buy the drymaster pants as well? Sadly my urge to get the Neotec die off already but can you share how much u paid for it and is it good?

I am wearing the DryMaster Compact pants. They sold me seperately for $80.

Neotec really exudes quality. Very comfortable and well ventilated. Seriously, once use high end good lids, won't want to go for average helmets liao.

The Kymco Downtown 200 are specially down size from 205cc to below 200cc for Singapore Market as requested by Motorsport to Kymco.

 

The reason Motorsport wasn't bringing in the 200 in the beginning was because the 200 exceed by 5cc and thus classify under the 2A license (201cc to 400cc). Since there was the 300 available in the same class, there is no reason to have the 200.

 

With the Downtown 125, many are surprise by the size and storage but was kinna put off by the low cc. 200cc made perfect sense and thus Motorsport felt that they are losing out in this 2B market and made a request to have a special order for Singapore.

Heard the bike is smaller than Downtown, so boss don't want to bring in. Too bad, profits wins, more choices for the customer lose.
