Matt Black Edition.

Don't know if MS bringing in any more Downtown 300 now that 200 will be the one that will appeal to the 2B. 2A will naturally go for the Xciting 400.

Ok for the fuel bar blinking until the amber fuel light on, I managed 56km.

I take the average at 27km/L. 27 divided by 56 works to about 2L of petrol.

Full to blinking last bar = ~10L

Blinking to amber fuel light on = ~ 2L

So conclusion is 0.5L of fuel left. (base on my fuel consumption of 27km/L)

Works to about 27km/L divided by 2 = 13.5km Left to Empty. To play safe make it 10-11km range.

hey guys, cn give review for downtown 300i? easy to maintain?im interested in trying out a scooter. how abt kymco parts? easy to find?

I ride a downtown 300 for 2 years now. No problems with scooter up to now.

Been to malaysia many times with no hiccup.

Scoot is big but managable.

Power enough for Singapore and Malaysia.

Seat below can store 2 helmet.

Good fuel consumption at about 27km/L

12.5L fuel tank.

Very easy to maintain.

Just regular 5K sevice like engine oil a d oil filter. Gear oil and etc.

One very important factor you must consider is do the agent of your scooter carry most of the major spare parts.

Motor Sport agent for Kymco carry most of the spare parts and they have a store for it.

At least I don't hear stories like others have to order and wait for spare parts.

Guys check with you all, normally if u go MS for servicing. the engine oil change is 1.5l and they will charge 2l price?

next servicing they will charge you for 1l?

I suppose u keep d balance half litre.

Like Harry says, keep the balance and bring it along so u purchase only 1 litre de next change. Don't leave your oil with them.

I just pumped 12.0 liters exactly(to the brim) for 401km!! Haha. Normal riding at 90-110km/h. Mixed city and highway

1.5 liters is overfill... Check your manual. It is 1.3 liters. So 4 cans over 3 changes

@gethype, I am thinking of selling my low mileage , 2.5 years old DT 300i. Black colour, accident and drop free. Serviced by agent only. Fully stock.

Nothing wrong with the bike. I just change bike every 2-3 years generally and I seldom ride.

Drop me a PM to view and discuss..... no obligations nor am I in a hurry to sell

no wor, they say next time come then used.zzz i thinking if next time i change engine oil? now using silkolene as they recommended.

1 more qns is normally you all pump how much pressure to your tires. is it the more pressure in tires the more dragging? everytime at servicing i think they pump more than 250 for front and back. my bike feel more bouncy and like more draggy.

my bike ard 10 litre it drop to 1 bar and start blinking everytimes ard 28-29km/l

Check your manual or the label pasted in front. Should have the recommended pressure.

Just did my first 1000km service yesterday...didnt do it at MS but did it at Toh Guan (bike shop where i bought the bike from)..used 1.4liters actually...cost me 60bucks for it...fully synthetic..kept the balance for the next oil change...

5k service...must change oil filter and wat else??...wat will be the cost roughly..??
