Some updates in dt300i

Current mileage 38600km

Still good.

 

Shunoski brought it up to thailand 3x ,CH and genting.

 

Save $ on oil change.

Fc around 27km/L(rider+barang 110kg)

 

1st belt change at 29600km(felt power lost already.user manual stated replacement at 20k km)

 

oil change every 2.5k km.(I dun give a chance of oil surge happen!)

 

Transmission oil-every 5k km

 

Spark plug-every 20k km

 

Overall,a good scooter to own.

Even sell also sell within my group of riding friends.

 

I cant think of any better bike to buy.(should say im getting lazy...lol)

Dt300 got decent power

Good fc

Low maintenance

Good storage

 

Except for slightly expensive spare parts.

Congrats... Most place able to service but I guess you might not be able to buy the oil filter easily. Thus I service at Motorsports,the agent.

Usually it's every 5000km but depends on your comfort level.

I change oil between 2000km to 3000km depend on my feel on the engine smoothness.

 

Which West area are you residing?

The only one I know is Future Scootering at mid view building at bukit batok.

 

As I do my own oil changes I do not go to other workshop.

I always go back to Agent Motorsport for stuff I can't repair as they will be very familiar with Kymco scooter.

I feel uncomfortable where some bike shop experiment how to remove my scooter panels and break something in the process.

That's just me
