hi guys

im thinking of getting a scooter, restricted to 200cc. im a little on the tall side 184cm and ive being scoot hunting but most available for me to seat on are Syms.. i will probably be raising the seat cushion and on sym the handle bar seems a little awkward and stuff. im using this site "www.cycle-ergo.com" to estimate. kymoco handle bar seems a little friendlier with raised cushions. Have a couple of questions hope you guys can help.

Is Downtown 300i and 200i similar in body and difference is only the engine cap?

and

Is the Xciting 200i,300i and 400i all similar in body as well?

Reason im asking is these 2 models seems to have the most ideal stock handlebar angle on the ergo website but their engine spec is different.

Thanks in advance for any and all help

Only 2 position you be comfort.

thanks for all that info guys. i called up unique sports they have the bikes but a little on the hefty side cause of the COE. right now its either preowned or maybe tryda get a class 2A cuz slightly higher cost can get a Xciting 400i or DT 300i. LOL passed my 2B in 1995 last rode is 1999. think may take me 4-5 tries to pass 2A lol.

Its not that hard to pass 2A. Pass it within 1 try, 3years after my 2B pass.

That's around 24.76km per litre. More or less here. For myself, hard throttle is around 25km/l. Gradual pickup and try to maintain at 6000-7000rpm can achieve around 26km/l.

I've consistently been getting 31-34km/l on shell 95. Never even below 31

I've been pumping 98. Should I do 95? I heavier I guess.

Haha....yah. I'm 70kg. After eating. So you prorate yourself. As for the fuel. No harm trying 95. I tried but minimal change to FC for bike.

For my car. There is increase mileage for 95. 98 is lower mileage. V Power even worst

I've ridden from Skipper 125 to Silver Wing 600. In my opinion, the first signs of belt and roller wear is an increase in rpm, both in acceleration as well as cruise. ie if 4500rpm is required to maintain 80kmh(my DT300's case), it continues to be as such until a slightly higher rpm is required to maintain 80kmh.

Of course, one has to monitor a few speeds ie 80, 90, 100, 110, 120kmh etc for their corresponding rpms to pick up first signs of belt/roller wear.

Yup, increase in fuel consumption can be a sign of belt wear too if other factors are excluded
