I would suggest to keep your tank always full.

 

Many bikes got fuel pump problem.

 

Trick to extend the life of the fuel pump is to keep it always full.

 

Usually I will pump after 200km marking.

 

Do a calculation on it.

Tank capacity 12.5L

Average FC 25km/L

270km light blink.

So agag you should know how many Liters left.

The blinking is 3.5 litres I believe.... I read it somewhere before........ from the blinking bar still can ride for at least another 100km(that's my weight) There is another low fuel amber light which comes on with 1 litre more to go (30km more)

 

I've been using up all fuel before pump fresh ones cos I do not ride much and petrol do go "stale"

Thanks for reminding; I reached blinking at the 300 km mark. No worries since there's suggestion for maintenance I just maintain lo cos don't want old got problem. Haha. Thanks ah.

For my Downtown 300 Improved model (supposedly) (LGE5 Variator) with hazard light.

 

(My rough estimate is as follow)

100km 1bar drop

150km 2nd bar drop

200km 3rd bar drop

250km Blinking (Left 2.5L)

300km fuel light On

 

Average Fuel consumption @ 25km/L

 

So when the fuel light come on i'm left with 0.5L/500ml (12.5km)

 

Die Die must go to nearest petrol station!!!

I saw somewhere, they said 4th/5th tank a Vpower as addictives is added.

 

For the air filter, you guys uses stock or aftermarket?

i tried STP fuel Injector cleaner, but i read online it's only max maintenance purposes. actually won't have any difference.

 

Use good grade petrol

Replace air filter

 

To
