Dear all DT riders. I am riding my DT300 for almost 4 years and i would like to share this with all new riders. When the Battery indicator light comes on, ask your mechanic to check electric coil before changing the battery. I have just change a new battery one week ago and my battery indicator light came on the very next day. Turns out, the electric coil is burnt and not charging current to the battery. This is already my 3rd time changing the coil and they are about $350 each change.

Btw..just realized getting a 2B bike is so expensive nowadays...16.9k for downtown..

Wah 3 coil! I'm still on my original at 50,000km coming to 5 years. What oil are you always using? Do you always stuck in heavy traffic like not moving for a long period of time? I'm using 10w50, 15w50 5w50 oil all this while.

Please Do purchase all your oem accessories here. definetely cheaper than local dealers sell.

If u all want coil,brakes, any engine parts, just pm in fb to TBSS. they will reply you with the correct model. you can purchase from them.

 

i bought my Stator Magneto Generator, brakes pads...etc. which not listed in their online website. PM them any oem parts you need to purchase, they will get it for u. enough of paying so much whereby there is a way to get our parts cheaper. Pay for workmanship and installation, still u save..its safe to order in TBSS. i have purchased items at TBSS a hundred times..so no worries.

:)Friday went to repair my Honda bike at sin boon......end up saw this DT200I and the KXCT 200i. ......don't know what's wrong with me.....end up brought the DT200I. .....hahaha. I guess too many repair job done on my Honda till I piss off liao. May need all the old bird advise on this scooter. Many thanks in advice....:-)
