Anyways, the prices are as follows [inclusive of $400-500 insurance subsidy].

DT125i: $9,800

DT300i: $11,800

Xciting 300Ri: $12,400

Grand Dink 300: apprx $10,700 [just my rough estimation. Even MS doesn't have a fixed price yet].

Actually the Grand Dink 300 price is also a rough estimation by the sales person there also.

I'm only interested in the Xciting 400i, cost will probably be $13,500 apprx.

Yes, but Carlube Triple R more economical. You dare to try? Ha ha.

i`m using this on my Piaggio X9 250cc Honda engine....using about 1.2l every 2000kms, no problems smooth as silk......i`ve heard that if manual bikes with clutch cannot use.

Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere.

yes, I use it on my Piaggio skipper ST150 too.

Good enough and can know when it's time to change oil.

When the starting gets difficult as need to crank more and the engine is rough.

Ha ha that's how I gauge. Then after change oil with the remainder, all back to normal.

Same as my skipper 150.

Don't think 200 will be any faster?

Only slightly I guess.

300i I think in the 11sec range. 0-100km/h

But must see the speedo error also.

Like my Gilera runner 0-100km/h @ 10sec but the real speed compare to cars is like 5-8km short.

Actual speed is like 92-95km/h only.

Fuel consumption also optimistic since speedo error.

How's the MyRoad so far? Up to your expectations?

The GD300 is in the place of your MR700i. Haha.

What time did you collect your MyRoad? I was at the showroom at 1pm.

I collected the bike around 1045pm. Into the first 150km. I am impressed with its performance so far. Rode in the rain and very stable.

However the engine sound and move off is very rough. Hopefully things get better after 1st engine oil change or run in. Another issue is the rear weight, very heavy but manageable. If i wanna visit town area carparks, i better polish up my handling skill.

The seats for both rider and pillion super comfortable. My wife loves it to the max. She says it feels like sitting on the car seat. Lol. I am observing its fuel consumption now. See how far can the whole tank of 15l go.

Yeah. I rode as a pillion on the DT before I got my license.

The seat is super comfy, also like car seat! Haha!

What top box does the MyRoad come with?

Price for xciting 300iR 12.5k +/- check MS

yes xciting pickup is slower than DT but it has higher topend, (Any more xciting rider can give comment on topend is how much, as mine is only 140km/h)

As for fork, i myself prefer full fork, as most bikes in the market are also full fork, but i have no idea why kymco produce DT with half fork. And full fork i believe cornering will be more stable ba, i cant say anything abt DT as i have not riden one b4.

I believe full forks are better with handling faster corners, hence most motorbikes and the Xciting uses full forks.

The DT on the other hand, is really meant for city riding, hence the name. So the bike is keenly designed just for use in the city - half forks, single front disc, more underseat space, etc -> Clearly designed for its own use.

It saves on costs too, hence the lower pricetag.

I used back the old box Givi 450. So far 700I doesnt have a top of its own to match its design. Into 200km, petrol tank still got 2 bars to E. I assume the bike can still another 50km.

Hi,

I ride a titanium colored DT300. My rear tire is due for change. Any idea why can I find the cheapest reliable tire? The cheapest I found was the $70 Shinco tire. Thanks

How about Metzeler FeelFree Wintec?

I'm having that now. Two tires costs $170 [$199 with installation]. You will have to check how much the rear costs though. It's really worth it!

Metzeler tires are softer compounds which means more grip and excellent wet weather performance!
