What i mean by weak brake is the inability to stop on my front, especially when there's pillion. Jamming the brake lever does not stop the bike at all.

Sounds like brakefade.

Bro do u always do hardbraking before this happened?

Posted
Traveling at 120kph, does it affect brake wear considerably as compared to 90kph??

By how much?? Haha. MS was saying normal brake pads can last 10-15k km no problems. But I'm already feeling a drop in braking performance.

It was grabby prior to 5000km, but past that, its now gradual braking, of course under normal braking conditions. Jam brake sure stop one lah.

Bro dont be so hiong.. U cfm brakefade la... Hahaha

U know what? U remind me of me when I just got my licence... LoL

ride safe..better safe thn sorry..better late thn never..and never dream.. Cheers bro.. Enjoy ur celebrations(u r chinese right?)

I meant that the rough metallic pads is eating up the rotor disc unevenly. Making the disc a wavy surface.

There's a Singapore Malossi shop opposite the market(market beside Regina) just across the road.

This is the Facebook account

Think must ask Desmond to order for you if you are interested.

Had a short accident. Was squeezing in between stationary traffic, then buang into a Toyota Hiace van, and a 14ft lorry.

But just paint scratch. The lorry didn't bother, Hiace van driver came down, I stopped too.... But he's a super kind driver.

Shake my hand, then told me to ride more carefully!

God bless that van driver!!

Yeap. I'm ok. Was well protected from the front and side panels of a scooter =) Thank God!

Surprisingly, the Hiace had a 10-12cm paint scratch/ dirt, whereas the DT only has a 5-8cm scratch at the side panel.

I can't recal what went wrong. I think I skid a little, then the handle bar turned left, which was when my bike drifted left and hit the Hiace, then drifted right to the 14ft pick up.

Was drizzling at that point/ road was damp.

Now the roads are wet, and realised that my Metzeler has lost that superb grip it has in the wet, and it's just 3000km on [installed it@3300km, now my mileage is 6350km]. My set of tires, can see an obvious line along the sides of the tires. Haha. Maybe cos I corner too much liao, so tyre wear and tear is high, especially between the middle and sides.

So I've just reduced the tire pressure from the recommended 29 psi front to 24psi,

rear from 32psi to 27psi.

The reduction of tire pressure was the one that caused my fuel consumption to drop from 30.5km/L to 28.3km/L. But on wet roads, I rather sacrifice fuel consumption than wobbling handle bar. Haha!
