The 45+/l is during run-in. Nw abt 40+/l. I have a 42l box. I pump caltex 95.

Had both my servicing done @ heong leong yamah, using fully synthetic oil.

I changed the tyres to Pirelli City Demon, everynight pump 280kpa.

Next service i going to unique.

I pump Caltex 92. Using Castrol Semi engine oil. With a 42l box. Pumping tyres every week.

 

When i was riding 90km - 100km/h, my fuel consumption is 33km/L. Now i have changed my riding habits, have been riding 80km/h keeping my rpm below 7000. Now my fuel comsumption is ard 40km+/L

Ya its around there..... i paid $13 for one clutch lever at a black shop once for my YBR....

 

@ crazydj: How old is ur bike? What happen to yr clutch & brake lever? Why do you need to change it?

I ride ard 75km/hr to 100km/hr, cruise 80km/hr. Tries to keep rpm below 8k. It hurts when i hear/feel the engine screaming, feels lyk wasting petrol...

 

I wanna change the brake, signal & planel light to LED. Is it possible? I oso wan to change the headlight to crystal gold colour. Limbat says need modified h4... What do u guys think? Can the ybr's electric take it?

 

I oso wan to fit in HEL's brake line, is it worth the money on ybr?

U guys think the stock brake good enough?

The right one was bent out of shape. And both of them were severely worned out at the joints. The paint was gone. And when i got my new one, whoa! Can say that my clutch and braking control improved tremendously. Can really get the right biting point than in the past!

 

Oh and regarding my buzzing front disc brake problem, i ask my mech to blow compressed air. Then can see a little dust flying out. And guess what? The buzzing is all gone! I feel like buying a small compressor to keep at home if i need to clean stuff next time. :)

I think the stock brakes good enough. But i have thought of changing my front disc to a bigger one, with some jaggered or saw teeth pattern.

Haha... tink i tink too much... U guys got change the headlight be4? What type is it? I dunno how to open my headlight...

I oso wan to change the disc... but dunno where to change. When u wan change, pm me, yeah? :)

Headlight must remove the screws facing you. Don't forget if you change the headlight, you must also add your own signal lights because its integrated into the head.

My speedometer meter is not working but rpm meter is working fine.

 

Suspect that my speedometer cable is faulty. Any idea how much to replace the cable & any shops to recommend that has the spare parts for YBR?

I tried it b4 - buy a H4 bent the lower 2 legs 85 degrees not 90 - if u bent them 90 degrees the whole bulb will drop into the lamp casing. so do it by trial & error. Must light grease your H4 connector b4 u plug it into the H4 pins. :)

yeah .. i was riding more than 80km/h most of the time and tat explains my bad fuel consumption ...

Be humble on the road at all times coz u'll neva noe wen u need any rider's help...

How come your rpm can reach 8k? Mine barely touches 7k. I will only reach 7k and above when i am at 100km/h plus full throttle. Your rear sproket size big?

 

Wah, then my mum today ask me how much my petrol for one month. Then she got shocked whan i told her it costs only 36 bucks max. Haha, i don't regret getting a YBR. Super slow, but damn happy with the fuel consumption. :)

How come like that? Mine also fully stock. Very hard for me to reach 8k. Never conciously reach 9k before. Max speed also 110km/h. That time V-Power. Now i on shell 92, maximum speed on straight road is 100km/h. Cannot go any faster. Must go down hill then can. You not asleep yet bro?

I clean my brake by braking hard... i had the buzz sound once. Aft the hard brake, silence liao :)
