Free WM dvd codec

Hi any free dvd codec available online for WM....i remember it used to be divx...cant play dvd on my WM

I tried doing a Google search on DVD codecs, some gave me odd results. But you can try if you want.

 

I have some on my hard drive that I've kept for 7 years now.

That is when the dot-com bubble allowed many people to create and put so many freeware software on the web. Like these:

 

Maximus DVD Player

The last time i visited their website, this DVD player came with codecs that work with other players too, including WM.

Don't know whether it's still online though.

 

Fraunhofer DVD Codecs

This is distributed by a company called Cliprex...not too sure whether they're still online though

but the result is negative...for maximus it cant play the dvd at all even in it own player...

as for the later...wm did detect but can play it stated that i need to increase or decrease the resolution...did so but still cant...Guess i make do with the vlc player lor
