sigh.. same thing happened to a close fren of mine during our nsr sp days.. his bike got stolen & the worst part was to carry on paying installments.

 

he got fed up, paid up everything & sold of his COE as a compensation.

Sorry to hear about your lost bike bro. I had always wanted to BREAK the hands of thiefs who steal bikes. Don't they have the brains to think that the owner may still have instalments to carry on paying? Once their hands are broken, lie them on the floor and LET GO the bike on his pair of legs so that the motha farker know the 'Heaviness' of the burden that the stolen bike owner has to live with. Also, to make them remember why they had become crippled for life... sigh....

err like to ask any cbrians riding l model gonna let go their bike soon? coz wanna xchange cdi n meter wif him/her.. dunno y moi l model cant clear meter always stuck at the 2nd line after 180 .. anyone got any idea?

no need to change just snip off the restrictor wire behind will do

 

anyone here have lobang for the headlight sponge

 

the reflection without the sponge is blinding within the 'cockpit' area

tat day i went to bikeshop at ubi he said cutting off the wire might not be gd to the cdi then he lend me this relay connect to moi meter (its call mv something) but then still the same

Lmodel shouldn't comes with restrictions. u might wanna check the serial number at the pillion seat to confirm if its a L. otherwise, the prev owner could have probably changed the speedo during his time. there is oso the restriction at the carbs. remove the plates..

Alvzz, unless u r hoping tat its some pranks & thinking tat the bike would eventually be found at some void deck, dun rely too much on the cops. they ain't gonna help much.

 

i m not trying to be nasty but i doubt the thief would actually have the balls to ride it ard sg. if they had a initial plan to steal the bike, they would have thought of how to dispose it.

 

usually ur bike would be found within a couple of weeks if its done by prankers & petty thieves. by then, u should have given up hopes & concentrate on minimising ur loss. i know tat NTUC does pro-rated refunds but Mitsui will decline refunds if ur policy is more than 6mths old?? maybe get back as much rd tax as possible?? i believe even season parking is refundable..

 

regards to COE, my fren sold it to a bike shop who rip him off completely despite his plight. be wise in ur choices. u need to do it quick yet able to find someone tats not going to rip u off.

 

i actually thought of meeting u guys up during the malacca trip but i guess now is the wrong time to raise this up. i hope u can find ur bike, if not, at least minimise ur loss..
