Meet up Time: 10pm @ Blk 678A, CCK north 7(24hour Kopitiam) (plz be punctual)

Move Off Time:Sharp 11pm

 

Starts: Blk 678A, CCK North 7

End: *Kranji Dam, after that OTOT

1. Old road riding on some old singapore road(West North)

2. Top Speed !(joke only)

3. Conering !(hope dont buang)

4. Clear Carbon (1st gear@15500RPM:cheeky:)

okok.. jokes aside.. on a serious note now.. if nxt time we ever move in a convoy again(as per just now) everyone must keep a lookout for the bike behind u or once in a while check ur mirror for the behind bike.. if u think that the bike behind u isn't catching up or something is amiss.. u need to signal to the bike in front of u either by high beam, horn or simply accelerate to catch the front bike's attention.. also, try to move in a zig-zag formation.. as in 1st bike left, 2nd bike right, so on and so forth so that u will be able to see all the bikes easily and also to avoid any collision in case of E-brake..

 

just now is luckily we in a small area and i noe the route ar.. if we in some other land or FX isn't a malaysian.. den dai ji dua tiao liao.. hopefully we all learn something from this as i will definitely be organising trips up further and further north as times goes..

look like the starter motor is worn off quite badly..

do the mech say the copper plates around the core motor wear off too..

this will oso cause the starter motor to malfunction partially..

as the starter motor consist of a round casing, 2 set of carbon starter, one main core motor that look like tamiya motor..

one of the ways is go to scrap yard or shops that keep 2nd hand starter motor to replace the parts..

 

as for the comment on the change of carbon starter is kena carrot may not be true..

the price is on the steep side.. maybe when the mech open it up, the carbon do wear off so as well change it.. but the gear that stick wif the core motor is not avaliable separately..

 

$95 for a carbon starter brush is totally damn ex sia....

 

i replaced mine for RM40 ($17) onli. modified from a car starter carbon.

 

i thinks its not the 'strange' noise comes from starter motor. the ticking sound is normal. u still can start the motor with 'push start'.

cars parts are much cheaper in MY than SG

therefore the parts used to mod are cheap..

if we get the parts from car in SG and mod, the effort may not worth that much..
