maybe u can try investing in a dry cell charger from SLT.. it's cheap.. 20+ only... u nv noe when you'll need it..

abt last time you all said tat ... my bike fuel pump spoilt....

 

but already 2 days... i switch to res running even though my fuel tank still full ....

bike didn't stall ... fuel still running the same .....

 

so issit any possibility tat there is water in my fuel tank ...??

ur symptoms do seems to show tat its a impending pump failure.

 

well, a simple test would be to pump fuel directly thru the fuel hose bypassing the fuel pump. if its works fine, then u should be on track..

I believe hurricane runs on 18" rims, they'll fit a fireblade..but sourcing for rubbers might become an issue..

is ur batt weak?? even so, it should at least provide some 'dying crank'..

well, it really depends on how u weigh ur options..

 

if u really love ur blade & intend to keep it long, u shouldn't have probs finding brand new parts.. downside is, the parts u wanna replace will easily cost a huge fraction of the oldblade's value, which in economical sense, is totally irrational, unless u r doing a claim.

 

on the other hand, u could try ur luck at junkyards or at unscrupulus bikeshop; waiting to rip insurance co off. these 2nd hand parts would of course be cheaper but would still be at least a fifth of ur blade's value.
