i donno particularly where it came from, the sound isn't very loud but i don like it

possibly valves ticking (indication of the clearance is out of range) or the fuel pump working out.

whats V stack ?

lol ! i still noob on cbr ! loll

 

velocity stack (V stack) is the intake part attached on top of the carburetor.

R model got straight four short v stacks.

L & N model got two long and two short v stacks.

 

the reason they got different v stacks is because L & N model meant for mid and top range, while R model for much more fun on low and mid range.

Bikeworkz also say nid do valves clearance... but i scare i doing unnecessary thing so come here ask for advice first

Looks like everyone has got ticking sound. Mine too!

valve clearance need to do in the sense that the clearance cannot be too tight or too loose..

maybe that time the clearance b4 servicing is too tight and in mech opinion, is better to loose abit. resulting in slight ticking sound.

can oso be the ticking sound is not cause by the valve clearance.. instead is cause by the header gasket..
