hi all cbr4 rider, i have the intention of getting a cbr but dunt know which model to get. izzit all the model perform the same just that outlook and powercut stuff is diff?

 

or all cbr4 perform well with all mob done and have to depend on luck when getting the bike?

I would say there would be difference between all model, but it's not that significant to the extent which you can't even see his rear light. power-cut can be easily bypassed by after market "gadgets" or simply, cutting some wires if the power-cut is on the speedometer. Good luck on your CBR and join us as babyblade riders! : )

kind of... if you are not a trained mechanic, there is only so much you can test the bikes performance... check forks, chain, possible accidents, engine sound for knocking, leaks... never know how jia lat it might be until your favorite mechanic opens it up....

like that sound like very hard to get bike with no major problem. praying hard to get 1 with little problem =]. whats the lastest model of cbr? izzit the newer the model the less problem it will have?

btw wats the main diff between a rvf and cbr seem like the price bwetwwn this 2 have a big difference

R model is the latest, last plate ive seen is FQ plate (1998).... there are no problematic bikes, just neglectful owners; just have some $$ standby in case you get some nasty surprises when your mechanic opens your engine for servicing....

 

cannot gurantee that newer cbr400 will have fewer problems, ive heard of ppl riding J or K models (1991 registered) that are in better condition than some R models....
