Normally CBR 400 plug can last more two year ... could it be the cable of the plug ??

 

Possible too... Might be contact not good... Might also be your cdi...

like to ask too.. anyone/any shop specialise in servicing cbr400 here or recommendation? or where is good for regular package servicing eg. oil filter, spark plugs, engine oil, all other checks

Cdi melting... First hand cdi cost about $350-$500 not too sure exact price... And first hand cdi might have power cut, not too sure too... one way to counter the cdi melting is to open it up, remove all the meltable things and fill it up with the high temperature silicon... Plan to do it soon... No time to go bike shop...

Wrong filling and not easy to remove the insides,call 91479459 Eso Systems,he's the specialist in this.

went to workshop to have battery + plugs replaced.

 

afterwards the cold start was good for only about 2 days , meaning i can start bike with 1st crank (don't even need throttle) ..

now idling rpm is about 1100-1200rpm (is it a bit too low, before i went to workshop it's always around1400), and also now every now and then bike will stall when i turn on headlights , or when i high beam etc. then totally no electrical, have to off and wait about a minute and on. i tested it stationary

 

anyone can pinpoint wat problem from these symptoms? i still new to riding this bike so have some problems at the moment need to learn & rectify

Did u check your cdi? And my rpm only at 1000 rpm... Yours is high...
