Ohhh slowly uh bro can't do everything at a time one uh. Fuel consumption how come your one dropp till so much?

 

Clutch plate worn out, sometimes at gear 6 140km/h throttle more the clutch never eat, end up just burning fuel... Actually all the gears also like this... Except gear 1... High rev the gear 1 eat, gear 2 onwards must throttle slowly... Lol.. Now still can hit 250km excluding reserve... My 300km that I clocked was including reserve, sometimes reserve half, sometimes all reserve gone... Lol... So I estimated 300km +/- 20km... So about 280km can pump Liao... But that time only reach 250 all gone... At expressway... Pie towards changi exit Stevens road... Spent half hour pushing it upslope and downslope to the caltex station there... Then call tow truck next day cos I pump full tank already still can't start.... LOL

owh i see i see i think best do clutch plate first? cluth plates how much de?? your fuel consumption like good i everytime 190 pump le but mine i not sure can go how far lol wa lol suey hahaha end up wats the problem??

Fuel pump spoil... Lol... Clutch plates $220 my mech quote me... But say after CNY then can do... Dunno why... He ask me slowly ride don't keep whack throttle... Lol... Now my max only 140km/h I think... Haiz sianz...

It is more likely due to wear & tear and thats y your clutch plates worn out.. remember that the youngest model (R-Model) bike is already more than 10 years old.. nothing to do with whacking throttle or gently opening throttle.. CBR400 is afterall a sportsbike..

No la... Cos if I whack the throttle, the clutch can't get into gear and the engine will rev but the bike doesn't move... So I must throttle more gently so the clutch will eat and move the bike... Something like doing burnout...

True... They need to direct order from Japan... Gonna cost a few hundred... Facebook page have... Cbr400.sg I think

Yea... Install a yoshi fire specs end can and it'll sound like a class 2... RVF the sound not nice... Fc also higher than CBR 400... V-engine burn petrol faster but pickup faster than CBR 400.... Fc high...

Ask mechanic. Maybe it's like the fork, need to be serviced. Hopefully it's that, or else need to pay a few hundred to change a new suspension...

Bro,

 

I need some advise. I've read somewhere that R6's radiator can be fitted into CBR400.

 

How true is that? Any pros and cons? I am having issue with the overheating problem.

 

Please do kindly advise on possible changes need to be done, e.g.: changing of head cover gasket or something.

hi every1.. happy CNY! jus wondering if ters a FB page.. anyway wt r e diff between rvf n cbr.. tot of gettin a 2a sportsbike but nt sure which to get

 

CBR engine is inline 4, swing arm. RVF engine is V4, proarm. RVF fc higher than CBR, pickup faster than CBR. But so far, I haven't encountered a rider who dare go faster than my CBR on Singapore roads, so I think it's the rider that counts.

Not sure about ready stock or not, Cos my mech told me that was their last piece about 4-5 months ago, so should have restocked by now. Price about $25-$35? Forgot how much my mech charged me for it.
