Tried that, it doesn't work, instead all the glass filaments in my cdi broke while trying to force it open with about 2/3 of the gum still inside... So I believe it will be better when there's less gum inside... Won't be as hard to open it, and also lesser chance of damaging the cdi while opening it... Anyway, I'm open to suggestions, we all learn from our mistakes... My mistake was an expensive one... Had to buy a new cdi for $400-$500 end up it has a powercut at 200km/h... After 1-2 weeks, I bought another second hand hurricane cdi with no powercut for $250... That's why I suggested to wait for the gum to melt off before doing anything to it... Sorry if my advice is wrong...

Honestly I find the handling of a 2a sportsbike of the cbr400 era or such differs greatly from the current new age machines in the supersports as well as superbikes cat.

Don't think too much and worry over powercuts. There are much more things to worry over instead. Over the decades it has already lost afew horses here and there. Just get what you like and enjoy!

Brake disc warped? If the sound come front the brake disc... If its coming from the radiator, check your coolant... If its coming from the engine, I not sure Liao...

Not from the disc brake.. it comes out from the engine. i think is the shims.. when i got my bike it got this issue already.

But my disc brake also have a sound from it. i suppose is the brake pad issue. i not sure. gonna visit bike shop soon.

Brake disc warped but still can use... For the engine sounds, when the last time u did your valve clearance? Might have something to do with that...

Unique advertised top value clearance at $350.

Price I'm not too sure bout it... Should be around that range... Maybe u check your valves?
