Askin arh.. can R models exhaust header exchange with L or N's models header nt? also N and L header same size right?

can xchange .. no problem. unless hurricane headers.

 

but nothing beats using an aftermarket full system.

so if i got a R model is it adviseable to change the header to L model's? will add on performance? just thinking.. ^^ thx for advise

very slight performance mod.

 

not needed, if u have plans to upgrade to CL2. proper servicing and maintenance can liao. Save your dough.

i intend to get cl2 bike later.. as in afew yrs bah.. currently i think a 400 is just nice for sg roads..

 

lets say if a cbr with a micron pipe but its a R model due to the small header i think the pipe might nt perform its best cos the combusted thingy got only a small way out which is the header else with a larger header is easier to escape am i right?

 

i still noob.. was thinking if its the way nt.. plz enlighten.. thx ^^

well, the micron still has slight restrictions. as it is, to pass LTA standards.

 

so why waste ur time and money ? since u already mentioned having plans for CL2. might as well save it.

the rear shock that he is talking about has a long steel rod running through the external spring. ithe visible rod is longer than 4 inches and the whole thingt doesn't look original. has a showa sticker on it but we have no idea which bike that model was made for...

the other point is mounted to the head bracket... the center of the head stock.. :smile:

big header & small header has pros and cons.. both have advantage and disadvantages.. depends on what kind of performance you want..
