well tts true u wont even know when is our last breath but dun take someone's last breath with your's or with you...This is the one wound where time itself cannot heal.....

 

I have seen bikers come n go be it a friend or fellow rider..its really sad to see the family/wives/husband/children trying to move on...it gets you thinking if you would like tt to happen to ur world...i used to be a reckless rider eg. speeding n stuff like tt, but i was open up to a new found truth when i see people around me fall apart to other rd users or by themselves.....Thus tts where i went back to basic to learn the real reason why i love to ride......Never got disqualified before but dun think i would want tt as it takes effort from within to get up and take the whole course...

 

We should enjoy i agree but not till the point where we regret...

There is only 1 way, the HARD way to regain back your lic. Tough but you made the mistake, you bear the consequences.

 

Drink and Ride/Drive is definitely a no no. Do remember that.

Bros here, pls don drink and drive or ride ba.. I sincerely beg those who are still doing so..

 

Personally I have done it before.. I'm not a very good drinker.. Dats y I tried with 1 glass then go drive (Definitely below the legal limit).. The feeling is very strange.. Once get the kick and highness of the alcohol effect definitely will speed.. Though mind is fantastically clear and awake, speeding is still inevitable.. Perhaps for some others vision may even b blurred.. 1 thing for sure, BTT and RTT don lie, you will definitely lose ur concentration and reaction will b slower...

 

When nothing happens ppl tends to take for granted.. Got 1st time, got 2nd time etc etc.. But when something happens and you happen to take someone's life, its really too late to say sorry...

 

Still remember the very day u passed ur 2B, where in front of so many ppl you make the vow dat you will ride SAFELY??

I would suggest you to enjoy with responsibility and exercise consideration. Drink and drive is not enjoyable when an accident occur.

No offense, just curious to know do you feel remorse?

 

After reading this thread again, I feel that you had misunderstood something about license.

 

From my view, driving license is the "RIGHTS" of driving a vehicle on the public road rather than a piece of paper.

 

By drink driving/riding, you had put your "RIGHTS" on the line.

 

Hope you will learned from your lesson and treasure what you had lost.

 

Please care for your license after you re-obtain them again.

 

Lastly I would say, the road belongs to the public, your action does not affects you alone. So please make it a safe and enjoyable journey for the other road users.

Ok. Here's my tip.

 

You got your sentence right? Then apply to go study or live overseas for a minimum of 12 months.

 

While you are overseas, take their driving and riding tests.

 

After you return to Singapore, take your foreign licence and go talk to your TP OC fren and get them to get you a class 2 and a class 3 licence thru conversion.

 

Otherwise, stop wasting our time with your sob story which frankly wasnt that sobbey.

Drink drive might be convenient, alot of ppl got revoke cos wana fetch this or that girl home etc etc.

Just take a cab. $50 max.

Already can spend 100+ on drinks, a 10-50 wont kill right?

I understand ppl who drives or rides to drinking spots will definitely have this tendancy of wanna drive or ride back.. 1 main reason is wanna have the easy way out, not becos they can't afford the 10-50 bucks.. Its juz dat they want to have the easy way out of immediately drive or ride back so next day don have to go back collect car or bike..

 

2nd reason is becos of pride and face.. When they go drinking they definitely won't go alone.. Becos of this face and pride problem, they probably worried dat if after drinking they choose to go public they have to face some "birdie language" like wah u cannot drink 1 ah, or aiyo next time don dare to jio u drink liao etc etc.. As a result wanna put on a brave front and carry on driving or riding..

 

Anyway watever the reason is, after drinking carry on driving or riding don ever get into trouble.. Cos if u ever do, the person who gets involve will not only b juz yourself,, but your selfish actions will actually causes someone else's son, daughter, brother, sister spouse etc..
