it really rare to see a 1000cc bike to have these type of problem. I can only think that after you change your exhaust , your bike is running a bit lean. Which when you are on high speed, your engine is working too hard as it running lean, that might be the cause for your bike failure.

Then his bike most likely will have this problem cos it's always on high speed......

Without a PC you cant tune your bike, if you are saying about the CO thing, it dun help much. Same as suzuki , we can do teka, but it wont affect much ,as it cant be tune to very precise compare to a PC3.

And normally, when one go for tunning, we tend to look at the bhp graph, but over look the A/F . Wat more important is the A/F ration. If a tunner know you like to see alot of bhp, he will tend to lead down your bike on the dyno, so that you will get a very good bhp as the air in the room is some how fix, so at higer rpm the wind is still only that much, and you dun need so much fuel.

But dun forget , in real world during high speed , the wind going into your airbox is so much more than the few ventilation fan he can provide inside the room. So at higer rpm , it alway better to set your A/F richer.

That will only happen ,if your bike is running too lean and it will happen at any speed, not only high speed, it so rare to see a 1000cc bike with these type of problem. And his bike is like only 2yr old.

but might have been some other problem , other than his bike is running lean.

But i dun see my bike with these problem ,even i had been whacking it on 2nd link or on the track.
