Philosophy A: Ignore what everyone else thinks. Riding is a better way to get around. Ride paranoid and keep your skills sharp

Philosophy B: Ride with somebody who's better than you. You will pick up a handy trick or new skill just about every time you are out

Philosophy C: You don't need a big bike to prove ur passion for riding

Fully syn, but is for cars. I have been using it for 2 years, cheap and good. Uses 20-50w.

wont it contain other additives not for bikes ? some clutch related thingy

Posted

So far from the articles I have read, uses car oil shouldnt be a problem. Just dont use less than 10-40w ones cos lower than that are energy conserving that contain high additive that are really not good for our clutch.

So far I am not wrong....after dyno it, my bike still showed 47.88bhp...if there is any clutch problem the figure wouldnt be so heathy....Then why should I pay so much for fully syn 4T?

Any oil would reduce friction and clutch in our bikes can do their job even there is oil....

Just that some car oil would have additive that blend the clutch materials and make then less effective....

I have email RP and result is positive using their oil and I have been using for 2 years...

I am the type of person that when everyone say no good, unless u give facts, if not I will look around and base on the info I got and made a decision...

I dont believe in putting more than $20 per litre oil when a $10 oil can do the same.....

So far if u stick to heathy oil change, no one had any engine spoil due to the oil they have in their bikes....Even using minerals oils....

y change clutch plate? wats wrong with them can i ask?

My bike, VtecII, could only travel at 90km/hr. When open throttle to 7000rpm, can hear the vtec opening but the bike won't go any fater than 90km/hr, like bo power like that. I tot it was the carb problem, maybe must tune.

so I brought the bike to planet motor and the boss, Ah Chong tested my bike. he say my carb no problem but my clutch plate worn out already. After he chage clutch plate, service are returned to normal.:cheer:

by the way $95 is for original HONDA clutch plate:thumb:
