fairus_50/and/nova : There's 2 kind of plates in the clutch assembly, the one that's been changed is normally the friction/fiber plate and not the metal/steel plate. :cheeky:

Kushinagar, thanks for the clarrification, I think you are right. he changed six piece of the plate thing.

And, my vtec II is only 1.5 years old. I have rode the bike up to Krabi for the 3NCR once and melaka once. probably thats why so fast must change..... :cheeky:

hows their tuning services ? $50 is a good price

Hi i'm an owner of a vtec 2 and i was wondering whats the normal mileage because mine will go around 250km before hitting reserve. I talked to another friend of mine and he told me his goes to 330km before hitting reserve. He told me i probably need to go wash my carb and tune which i haven't done so for quite a while. wondering if thats the problem? And my engine has a slight knocking sound which the mechanic told me is probably the inside of the engine which happens whenever my engine is cold. anyone has any idea how much the repairs for that might cost?

I am the type of person that when everyone say no good, unless u give facts, if not I will look around and base on the info I got and made a decision...

I dont believe in putting more than $20 per litre oil when a $10 oil can do the same.....

So far if u stick to heathy oil change, no one had any engine spoil due to the oil they have in their bikes....Even using minerals oils....

where do u get ur purple royal? When for changing interval?5000km/?

Sorry, know I abit off topic here. But does anyone know what is the reason for using mineral oil? I have heard ppl riding s4 who alternative between mineral and synthetic oil? Is it good for the engine?

2 thumbs up to Kushinagar for compiling the price list. Must have taken alot of effort. Just kinda wonder if the bike shops here publish their price list for services and component price? If so, we can upload them to this forum just like what Hardwarezone Forum does for PC shops in Sim Lim. Any views, moderators?
