all those that flush coolent with the shops right

do you get the keep the bottle of coolent?

 

for e.g. $20 = cost of coolent + labour

 

which leads to my next qns

how much will they charge if u go back again and ask them to flush for u using ur own coolent since u surely got leftovers?

wat i knOw is they charge u $10 or $15 is TO fluSh ur coolant n top up to the required amoUNt de.. dun think its the same as change EO( the leftover u keep)

just change tyres at hkl - bt090 front and rear 120 and 160 cost $250 with balancing

 

K&T

servicing of brakes front and rear calipers + bleeding $75

front o ring cos 8 pairs cos $90 rear one $30

brake pads front $40 per pair(gold fren racing)

rear wp $25

 

grand total cost mi $550

hi guys...

in terms of changin components... how to determine whether ur bike components

needs to be changed? Usually old timer say, no spoil no need to change? is it true?

 

How long or base on what condition do I need to change the following?

 

Throttle cable:

 

Clutch cable:

 

Clutch plates:

 

Wheel bearings:

 

Sparkplug: usually about 10K for my spec 1

 

Flushing of coolant: change once

 

Brake Fluid: Till now since yr 2002 I have not change yet

 

Flushing of brake fluid: see above

 

Servicing of brake calipers: see above

 

all in all....me bike still running pretty smoothly...

 

need some advice as I'm sure most of us are pretty uncertain too unless we have proper lesson on bike servicing. thank you bery muchy

I need to do a carburretor wash and re-tuning and mayb change the pins as well. How much $$ damage am i looking at here??

3 bottle of Maxima Extra + Hi-Flo filter = $75

3 bottle of Maxima Ultra + Hi-flo filter = $80

 

ps: note that each package is 3litres. so u need to get one more bottle or find 200ml of engine oil somewhere unless u r pre-spec version

hi-flo is jus a brand for filters. the one he refer is for oil filter
