Went servicing at JB ahboy (guo hui)

 

Rear wheel bearings - RM$36 (RM$18 each)

 

Front 15 Rear 42 Honda Sprockets and VOX o-ring Chain - RM$260

 

Too bad they only have DID chains for smaller bikes and don't have other aftermarket sprockets. Very friendly and helpful mechs though.

 

 

Asked abt yuasa ytx9 batt - RM$130, so i didn't change.

 

Instead, I bought a VANSON battery charger model BC-12SL at $28 at SLT Kim Chew to charge my battery.

Looks like a small round piston? Its in the brake pump, it was stuck and jammed my brakes. Wear and tear after 6 years.

(shall list down the things that i can remember)

 

for VERSION S.. :cheer:

 

service carb = $80

float pins = $20 * 4 = $80

rubber (for use between the carbs and the engine block) = $15 * 4 = $60

 

total $220 includes free tuning, free wash K&N air filter, free tighten chain and free water (for radiator)

 

WP brake pads (front caliper) = $25 * 2 = $50

stainless steel screws to secure the caliper together = $2.50 * 8 = $20

bleeding = $10

wielding of front caliper screws to prevent theft = $10 (from shop beside K&T)

rubber seal for brembo caliper = $6 * 16 = $96 ( 2 rubber per piston and brembo got 8 of them)

 

 

fork oil, fork seal and fork metal spare parts = $160 with a small can of maxima chain wax (can't remember the breakdown liao.. :sweat:)

summary, service my front forks, front calipers, and service carbs, which includes but not limited to changing wear & tear parts, a bottle fo maxima chain wax and membership discount cost me $160 + $220 + $220 respectively.. total spent $600 on my version S.. :cry:

if one side how much? if both side how much?

 

2. is the front signal light and bracket cost?

Also add something in for spocket can? There is a different in pricing for different teeth like 42 and 44 and 45 are different pricing.

Also only one know what the original teeth for spec 2? is 44 or 45?

During the Japanese Occupation, 3 Singaporeans, Ah Meng, Ah Seng and Ah Beng were caught for smuggling. They were sentenced to death by firing squad.

 

That night, Ah Meng came up with a plan. He told the others that the Japanese were afraid of natural disasters. So he would cause them to panic, and escape in the confusion.

 

The next morning, Ah Meng was led to the wall. The firing squad was lined up and the Captain commanded, "Ready.. Aim..", but before he could complete, Ah Meng shouted, " Earthquake!! Earthquake!" The Japanese soldiers panicked and Ah Meng made his escape.

 

Later, the soldiers took Ah Seng out and the firing squad were ready. The captain commanded, "Ready... Aim..." This time Ah Seng shouted. " Flood! Flood!!" Again, the Japanese soldiers panicked and this time, Ah Seng made his escape.

 

Observing all this, Ah Beng began to get the idea. "It's important to get the timing right."

 

Soon, it was Ah Beng's turn. "Timing, that's the key.." Ah Beng kept saying to himself. The soldiers lined up in front of him. The captain started, "Ready..."

 

"Timing," Ah Beng thought to himself

 

"Aim..."
