my fork is too soft place to recommend to make it harder

and price?

Googled and found what is a X1R.

My honest opinion, there isn't much to do, and it's not worth to do.

What is "too soft" ? As it, the fork bottom out when hitting a bump or bike looked like scrambler, with rider on, it looked like a low-rider ?

My suggestion is to open up the fork cap, and see the size of the spacer within, it's right on top one the cap is off. Take that spacer, and source for PVC pipes or aluminum tubes of similar dimension, and cut a few pieces at 2mm increment. ie, if stock spacer is 2cm, cut 2.2cm, 2.4cm, 2.6cm etc. Cost, less than $2 for PVC tubes, or $10 for aluminum tubes.

Another method is to buy metal washer of similar diameter and just piled them up till you feel shiok.

There is some handling setbacks but nothing dangerous, if the preload is excessive.

soft as in it gave the feel that the fork goes down easily like not much of a resistance.

Some told me top up fork oil, whereas some said its OK.

Comprehensive information Demon!

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

If your fork oil is already at the upper recommended level, adding more may bust your oil seals. However if you use a heavier oil, then that may improve slightly but however heavy oil you use, it will not be as effective as increasing the height of the spacer.

Moreover, oil is so much more expensive than PVC tubes.

adding too much spacer will result in too much preload, and not enough sag....

2 cents....
