thanks k k

i was taught the same principles.

but i was told the psi should be around 180.

anyways, its good to have an exchange of ideas.

must always try to improve :cheer:

no prob~

my front is low, cos i really don't like the floaty feeling..so far the tyre wear is still quite alright, not too much on the sides. Need more observation though =)

haha...ok! :cheeky:

so you have your answer there.

but you'll be suprised to know that we have riders that bought their scooters from ta, roda dua and the tampines scooter shops.

and they still ride with us

even the 'angmohs'

dont matter where you got your scooter from.....most important is that we share the same passion and ride as one :cheer:

the feeling of front end not touching the ground, will sway more easily.

'cause in theory, the tyres dun 'stay in contact' with the ground all the time, but will 'bounce' up and down. With higher pressure, the contact of tyre with ground may be very minimal especially at higher speeds.

with high pressure, the contact of tyre on ground will be like

V

with the bottom tip touching only at the very minimal

correct pressure, the contact of tyre will be like

U

good contact and even wear.

low pressure, the contact of tyre will be like

W

with the centre 'folding' in, more wear on the side. it's a bit exaggerated when i use W to show, but that's the idea.

haha it's ok lah.. good knowledge for everyone.

so by looking at the wear pattern of your tyre, can tell about your tyre pressure. provided u always do the same tyre pressure. =)
