Its just that, he does not have it on display like the others. (but that will change very soon!)

If you are looking for "mod" or vintage stuffs like crash bars, carriers, original seats, bitubo suspensions, continental tyres, glitters, badges, key-chains, fog lights, etc etc etc.

He has them all. All you need to do is ask him for the specific items and he'll take it out and show you.

 

And out of curiousity, is your "baby" in green now?

Whats the plate no?

Maybe, I'll personally speak to Ah Joo and have him work something out for you.

ouh, are continental tyres any good?

thinking of having a wet weather tyre.....scared of skidding n the like

This is from my own personal experience.

 

I have only been to the "auntie's" shop 3 times and even then,each time I went,

I was not spared from her verbal attacks and guess what?...I dont even know

who ah joo was then,not until recently when i followed a friend to ah joo's shop at ubi.

 

I wonder where all this anger comes from and the reasons behind it. Cuz when I first met

ah joo and until now (3mths), he has been such a 'darling'...hehehe

 

Anyway this is my side of the story.

I am sure there's more juicy tales to be heard from other riders..

Me newbie here but been riding vespa's 4 quite a few years.

Heard of Aj Scootz thru fellow scooter lovers.

And u guys are making news everywhere u go huh...good ones!

Glad to join u guys in this thread here.

 

So Ah Joo is the name on Aj rite?

But who's running Aj Scooters?

Every one i asked and one name seems to Pop-Out and that is AZIZ of Aj Scooters.

Is he the 've guys "Main Man"?

So many questions ah...khekheke!

 

Lastly, i wud like to add my 5 cents worth to the thread here and that, I totally agree to what you guys ar discussin here.

And thats about the "Old Fart" of a Women at the Vespa Shop.

One thing you dont hve to worry la, she's NOT going to stop Back-Stabing everyone...Hahaha!

Its in her diluted blood.

 

So enjoy Aj Scooters...May u guys help promote our Vespa scene to the Max.(No one else is.. )

The best of tyres for a Vespa, under "any condition" would undoubtedly be Bridgestones...BattLax!!!

But there are other brands just as good.

The cost would be under $40/-(price variations from shop to shop)

 

I was at Ah Joo's yesterday but i could not find your scooter.

There was a dark grey Vespa with an eagle on the front mudguard with an FB plate BUT that belongs to a Uncle "Haji".

Ur dad's?

 

Anyways FYI, the long haired uncle is Ah Joo's younger brother(looks older huh?) Hehehe!

not my dad....

my dad doesnt ride bikes...

n yeah..my scoot wasn't there yest...

no cash so no point in going....

gonna go next saturday to repair my mainstand n replace all the rusty bolts n screws...

n ask for quotes on various things....

how does your scoot look like?

I guess i missed you at Ah Joo's shop then.

Well hope to meet-up with you at the shop soon.

 

Currently, I have a couple of different rides but if its a Vespa, you'd most likely see me riding a mustard yellow PX150 on the road.

It has a couple of distinctive features on it. Will show you when we do bump into one another.

oooh this thread sure is growing!! anyway, was down at thong aik today and experienced first-hand for myself for the very first time on the auntie's attacks on ah joo. she was asking where i got my bike from and i told her i got it from ah joo. she then started on this tirade of verbal attacks on how ah joo's bikes are expensive and have lousy engines and wirings. haha when i told her my bianca is real trusty and a toughie, she made a face and said "oh good for you cos that is a miracle coming from ah joo". mann i could barely believe what i was hearing haha i think i actually laughed when she said that. can't believe she is THAT against ah joo. putting aside her spite / jealousy/ god knows what else against ah joo however, she is actually pretty patient. had her show me tonnes of things from her shop but only ended up buying two vespa miniatures and a mudflap in the end, and she was totally cool with it. i have to say her collection of miniatures and accessories is really pretty extensive as well. not that i want to praise the thong aik auntie or her shop. it's just that apart from her spite, she really is quite nice otherwise. not to mention that she does have some cool stuff (esp her miniatures, of which some she absolutely refused to sell to me, even after i told her to quote a price, haha).

Any recommendation for a good exhaust....

I used to have a proma exhaust as well but since the fine went up....i kept it in the store and now i can't find it...!@#$%!@$....

would love to have some advise....

 

cephelix, for rusty bolts and nuts....check out the stainless steel ones....they don't rust!!!
