Hey, i have a the same bike as in my name lol. And I want to put rear blinkers on it so I dont have to use my hands all the time.

I also have a haynes manual to look at.

But from what it seems, there are no wires running to the back that would be used on blinkers, just the brake wires and the license plate light wires (from what i can see, everythign is wrapped in electrical tape).

Is there like an easy way to do this? Or any suggestions??

Or even a website that gives me a diagram or something on how to do this, being a new rider, id MUUUUCH rather not use my hands and keep both hands on the handlebars.

i dunno e yellow sentence means wat.. use hands all e time?

signal light wiring shd be at e rear seat.. it shd be brown/green for left/right

dont see anything besides license plate light wiring, and brake light wiring.

And the yellow sentence means I use my hands as signals... as in i put my hand out to the left when i want to turn left, and my hand out to the right when i want to turn right to let the people behind me know im turning..

It seems there is no wires period. i live FL in the US, so there is no inspection here. But I believe the bike has been wrecked before and some of the fairings replaced, and it looks like the fairing that comes down below the rear seat to hold the license plate and turn signals originally is missing all together.

I do have OEM signal switch on handlebar, is there a way to kinda follow the wires back? Only thing that sucks is its all covered in electric tape

And odly enough, my friends bike (he bought used also) is the exact same bike, just one year earlier, and he dosent have them either.

Ok. well actually I wanted to get better pics of the wires to show you guys, and i took off some (what i thought was) factory bound tape on the wires, and I found two sets of leads.

1) Black with yellow stripe + Gray wires

and 2) Black with yellow strip + Green Wires

Ok, since im almost 100% sure those are the blinker wires, have 2 questions.

With the pics I added with the back end on them, where would be a good place to get blinkers that would go flush on the back fairings (to the left and right of the reflector below the brake light). And #2, which wires are which signal (not that it would be hard to figure out lol... just wondering if anyone knew off hand.

lol. well i did it myself actually

Used some trailer lights I bought from the local hardware store, and hooked them up and they worked lol.

Ghetto installed them on a wooden ruler (lmfao) and attached it to the bottom of the license plate.... very very cheap replacement until I find some sort of good mounting bracket. (Didnt feel like drilling into my fairings)

Anyone know where you can get a replacement rear plastic mounting bracket for my bike? Like the one that holds lights and license plate normally?

You can also try installing some newer type of LEDs strips - these can be double-side taped to your fairings. These newer types are super bright & veri easy to work with.
