I just got my bike recently and in a bid to get familiar with the roads, my friend brought me over to lots of places including Punggol but from there we kinda had a hard time finding places to eat or public toilets and stuff. Maybe you guys can share with me what's there at Punggol? Curious to know haha. Like nice places to eat or anything interesting. feel like such an alien there :\

Oh Jalan Kayu is more like sengkang. From jalan kayu if you ride straight you can go all the way to seletar camp which there is a road link to yishun dam. if the other direction it will lead you to hougang and serangoon north where there is Greenridge mall just open. Nothing much there but a super mart a food court and some nice restaurant and cafe for ppl to chill. Parking at Greenridge for bike is free thou.

Punggol got lah. Many many fishing and prawning ponds that i myself also shock. Total 3 location within punggol. A big billiard saloon. Golf driving range. Drive thru KFC. Punggol plaza with canadian pizza, KFC, Macdonalds. Latest addition is SING POST in Punggol WAHAHAHAHA... here we have Seng Shiong, NTUC and Prime super mart. Petrol kiosk we have Shell and SPC, which im quite impress that the SPC car wash is ALWAYS crowded.

We have Matilda house in punggol which now they are developing as condo club house. They say that its haunted but news said that its just abundant.

We have free fishing too at punggol jetty and now there is a Horse riding barn which i dunno start already or not. The cycling track link all the way to Sengkang and Punggol park at hougang area. Now it stretches to Sungei Serangoon and Lorong Halus.

So dont tell me Punggol no activities. LOL We even have a few PUBs...... Wahahahaha

You just need someone who knw to place to bring you ard. Punggol is easy cos the road network is in grid. Sengkang then abit difficult for me cos the road network is like a spider web design.

Oh ya its true. Thanks for reminding the others. Yes most of the area are developing thus last time i also told those which i bring to not corner or go too fast. Cos alot of trucks spill those stone aggregates and sand. Be very careful take your time and dont take the risk.

Well if there are more condo here then out property here also price go up lor hahahaha. If there are more condo means that the area will be developing into more vibrant place.

Yes you are right. I do not understand why the Sunday free parking scheme does not apply to new housing area. Now Sunday also cannot have family day with house visit without worrying about parking?
